Purchased usual, fish Snapper + Chips + Burgers. Regret really badly let down, the fish was grey in colour and quite literally stunk, I seriously doubt if this fish, even before it’s demise was Snapper, only surety being that this fish had been dead and out of the water for quite some time. Absolutely was immediately confined to rubbish bin. Chips Ok - Burgers Ok. However, it will not be my intent to return to this establishment any time soon, which is a shame after 12 years of custom.
Usually very nice however tonights order ordered by ph which was to be approximately 15min order number 1, so arrived and paid after 5 minutes. Sat down in store and waited another 30mins and then asked when my order would be ready. They said oh yeah its ready but we didnt know your order number. Got it home and it was terrible as it was obviously ready not long after i paid and just put in warmer and forgotten about. Soggy fish and chips on a $50 order. Disappointed family tonight.
Bacon burger had no pattie..just a wee bit of lettuce a slice of tomatoe and a little bacon...not what I'd call a bacon burger...fish certainly didn't taste like snapper and was smelly...would score less than 1 if I could

Every now and then I do like to have fish and chips. This time I have decided to select a modified family pack made up of 4 Snapper fish, $3 chips, 2 sausages and 2 potato fritters. Everything tasted so good and fresh - there was far to much for a family of five! But nothing can be perfect? Price - not bad at all. Everything was fresh, had a good smell and crispy! Just not to make it perfect - the fritters could have had a bit more of an onion taste! But in summary, better than I have had over many years in Auckland.

Wow. I tried this place and have been back for a different burger. Love them. Want to try them all. A bit pricey for the pension though so it will take a while to work my way through their yummy menu.
I paid for snapper and it had a blood line in it they arrogant. Will never go there again
