Nice spacious clean rooms and well located near beach and Cafe's as well as restaurant on site. Modern but not brand new, very reasonable tariff. Friendly helpful staff. Good for a couples get away. Hot tub in unit

I stayed here last weekend. I wish I'd read a few of these reviews before I booked! The bed was no higher than 18 inches off the ground and I woke up with a sore back because the bed is so old and uncomfortable. The glass shower partition had mould (or possible encrusted dirt) growing along the bottom edge. Flaky paint throughout. The garden outside our room was full of weeds about 3 feet high and an orange road cone sitting in it even had weeds coming out of the top of it! The curtains are unlined and the porch lights stayed on all night long, so I found it hard to sleep. Mosquitos are drawn to this light and if you open your door at night you will be eaten alive, as I was. The owner should spray some sort of long lasting repellent to avoid this problem. Oh, and next to my warehouse style outdoor patio set was a rubbish bin!!! This hotel is the worst place I've never stayed in. I've never complained about any other hotel before but had such a bad experience with this place I felt the need to warn others!

Awesome location, nice and spacious. Room very clean, great spa bath. Beach a 2 min walk away and lots of great eateries and 4 square are also within the 2 min walk

Great option for a nights stay when you're off to Kapiti.

Not bad if your after a cheap stay but don’t expect to much. Could do with some security updates and maintenance.
