Worse doctor I have visited. Dr Taylor gossiped with the front staff for 10mins talking derogatory about a member of the public, I went in with my son who has a disability and he didn't acknowledge me, had read no reports from my son's specialists after being his doctor for over 12mths and had no interest at all, his mobile rung and he grabbed it and walked out of the room not acknowledging we were there, apologising or saying how long he would be after 5 more mins waiting we walked out, paying huge price for nothing. Do not recommend and would not go back.
I saw doctor Falk for a hand/wrist injury and he sent me for an Xray and asked me to bring them back without the official report so he could rule out ant broken bones. He managed to squeeze in time for me to come back and go over the xray and reassured me nothing was broken and gave me advice on looking after soft tissue injuries. He was helpful and understanding despite never going to this practice previously :
I have never written a negative review prior to this on anything but I am appalled by this place. Every time I have to arrange something with them they always forget something. This time, they managed to take payment over the phone and the receptionist was lovely but Dr Taylor did not send through my script to the local chemist, because he was probably too busy trying to book me in for other things he can charge me for. No social skills or ability to read social queues at all. This will be the last time I use this place due to the sheer incompetence and lack of reliability their doctors leave me with
I've had a positive experience at this practice. My wife and I came in to get our Covid-19 vaccines but she wasn't able to get one due to her age. A young gentleman Jodie I believe did his very best to look things up for us, professional and proactive. My jab went well, the only objection is excessive and repetitive paperwork. Parking is difficult around the area during busy hours.
Great reception staff and excellent Doctors. Not one complaint in my 6 years of attending. The fees are reasonable compared to other local surgeries and not only that, they bulk bill if you are on a centre link card. Dr Taylor is one of the best injection givers around. I am happy to be a part of this practice and think the people complaining must be too high maintenance as these guys are great.
Last year I left a four star review of this place saying it was not too bad for what you pay for which is nothing, since it's bulk-billed. After attending here regularly for 18 months and having seen all the regular doctors, it is with great regret that I can no longer let that original four star review stand. While I had a pleasant initial consultation with Dr Davies, the rest of my appointments here over the last 18 months have been increasingly disappointing, finally culminating in my decision last week to leave the practice and go somewhere else. The doctors here are rude, dismissive, and negligent, but particularly Dr Falk. I feel I can confidently say that I gave this practice a more than fair chance, having attended multiple appointments there before formulating an opinion, as I feel is only fair. But I have only received negligence on every level, and will be filing a report with AHPRA to the effect. If you have been there before and also received similar treatment, I encourage you to do the same. New patients be warned: I have it on good authority that this practice is already under ongoing investigation. I am happy to say I will not be returning here.
I have been going on this practice for a while now and it’s ridiculous how they charged each pt one dollar for one masks.like really is this for real?
NEGLIGENCE AND MALPRACTICE.. DO NOT SEE DR TAYLOR!! My 11 month old baby had a serious allergic reaction to eggs. My usual doctor is 25mins away, my car is in repairs, so I had to walk to the nearest doctor with my 11month old baby. I did however, read the reviews on here and although rather terrible, I needed to see a doctor for a prescription for liquid antihistamine. BUT.... this is the shocking part... The doctor, Dr TAYLOR gave me two prescriptions; one for what I thought was liquid antihistamine, and one for a steroid cream. I wasn’t too sure on either of these, as Dr Taylor seemed to have rushed through our appointment, within 5mins, talked over me and did not let me finish my sentence, nor did he listen. This uncertainty was rectified by the pharmacist refusing to give me these medications. Turns out that Dr Taylor prescribed the WRONG liquid antihistamine, called Phenergan, which you can NOT give to infants less than 2yrs of age, as it can cause 'severe breathing difficulties' and 'possible death'!! And... it’s used as a sedative!! Further to this malpractice, Dr Taylor also prescribed my 11month old baby a steroid cream, he said specifically to "put it over his face and anywhere with redness"... and this turned out to be the strongest steroid cream where you are also NOT ALLOWED to use it on faces of infants!! This is completely shocking, utter negligence and malpractice. This is extremely dangerous practice of profession, which could have resulted in a fatal consequence for my baby. I will be taking this matter further.
I have been going to 7 Day Medical Centre for many years and have had some good experiences. I have noticed however that while Dr Davies is excellent, Dr Taylor is in it only for the money. He missed doing some tests on me the other day - probably because his examination lounge was too cluttered with journals which given his limited knowledge of medicine I doubt he ever reads. As a result of my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated and because Dr Davies was not on call, I went to another doctor and it turned out I had a serious infection. This is not the first time that Dr Taylor has shown he is a disinterested doctor who is only interested in the money he can make so he can go overseas as often as possible. His arrogance is truly exceeded only by his incompetence. I would like to reiterate, however, that Dr Davies is excellent and explains things brilliantly and has always been nothing but kind and thoughtful to me and provided excellent medical care. It is a shame he only works on limited days.
I had been coming to this practice for over 1.5 years and so has my sister, I don't normally leave reviews or complain but the amount of times I have been left waiting 30+ minutes to have a 3 minute consultation is well.... Everytime. I had only continued to go there as it was close by and they bulk bill. I have even self diagnosed myself and told Dr. Taylor what to prescribe me, to which he has just agreed and signed over medication without even doing basic medical assessment. Once, I waited 30mins to see Dr. Davies, I saw Dr. Taylor say to the receptionist he was stepping out for lunch.... Well, while I was waiting for my doctor, Dr. Taylor had a sick child coughing his lungs up waiting for 30 minutes and three further patients waiting. I finally got in to see Dr. Davies and when I came out... Dr. Taylor was still no where to be seen? Do not schedule appointments and waste patient's time if you are going to be unavailable... Extremely rude, inconsiderate and inhumane. I had a doctor's appointment one time for 5.40pm as I had to work until 5. I rang up and said I would be 5 minutes late because of traffic and the receptionist, a young asian woman said that that was fine, so I get there 5 minutes late and the receptionist tells me that Dr. Taylor went home 15 minutes ago? He went home before my original appointment was to even commence? The receptionists look like they hate their job, they never have a smile on their face or are welcoming. The doctor's have been working in the medical industry far too long or something and have zero care for their patients... I feel the Australian Medical Assocation should be contacted, especially in regards to Dr. Taylor. Reading all these reviews only confirms his medical malpractice and I feel he needs to be reassessed professionally. My sister and her partner have had numerous issues with this practice also. My sister's opinions being blatantly disregarded about pain she had been experiencing in other areas of her body by Dr. Taylor last week, which was the last straw. I have only ever had poor experiences here and have not been back in many months, I am very surprised no action has been taken in regards to Dr. Taylor. Do not go here, especially do not take your children here. Zero stars.
