Nice little place. Better atmosphere than the old pub across the road. Although, the beer offering was still just commercial large brewery stuff. They should run a guest tap and use some of the vast welly craft beer. 30 bucks for 6 oysters was a bit steep considering the size of them. Otherwise, it has great friendly hospitable service and good sounds.
Surprising! ..the ambience was warmly 70's The menu ...on face value hard to choose...oh man, every choice was divine! Flavoursome beautifully presented, melt in the mouth yum!! Service was just the perfect balance of attentive, and informative. Andrea made us feel like family. Cool change..definitely add to your itinerary!
Unexpectedly stumbled onto this Martinborough gem for a late lunch! Retro '70's look 'n feel which we love - nice blackboard menu which changes frequently and a very chic cocktail menu, along with local wines of course. Very cool!Food: 4/5
Wow if you, are really wanting to enjoy a night and fabulous food in martinbourgh please go here. The owner is fabulous has such attention to detail to his customers and so does his staff. The place is warm Interesting and inviting. And the ambience is just so lovely. We went for my birthday and he made me feel like it was such a wonderful night.just wanted to say a huge thankyou we will be back
Nicest staff on the face of the planet. The kind barmen/women made me feel like a local customer who had been coming for years. Highly recommend to anyone who hopes to make their visit to Martinborough worth while. blonde haired woman and brown haired man working 18/01/23 are probably the most undervalued staff members on planet earth. I don't care what they're being paid, pay them more. the combined charm these two poses could've swayed the direction of the second world war. their combined efficiency could’ve seen the moon landing through 10 years earlier. and I strongly believe that examples of their comradery could be followed to end the conflict in Ukraine. Not to mention the music selection is second to none. I hoped to add negative feedback in the latter section of this review; however, I have none. This is a perfect establishment. Awesome evening. Staff were great and super accommodating to our table of 8. Aliyah in particular was very friendly and helpful. Delicious food, great to have the seasonal nibbles options along side the menu! We will be back, thank you!!
What a cool place. Jimmy and his staff are amazing and being first timers in Martinborough they made me feel so welcome and like a local. Definitely recommend this place and was our favorite. Great cocktails, great service and great food.
Lovely place for drinks. Andrea was a delightful bartender with great recommendations.
Visiting the white Rock area during the afternoon we 3 were hoping for a meal in Martinborough. Pleasantly surprised to arrive without a booking for a late night meal here at this bar. Took a seat and I had the most delicious scallops! I only wish I had more scallops on my plate. Service was nice and had a good evening.
