Coogee Diggers is my local club that I have dinner at frequently. The food is consistently good with a lot of variety and everything on the menu is delicious. My favourite meal is the haloumi salad and then the chocolate extravaganza for dessert. Yum. The drinks are well priced and they even serve a sweet moscato, which I love. If you are a member you also get food and drinks at a discounted price. The staff are always nice and friendly and the facilities are improving every day with constant renovations and upgrades.
I absolutely love what’s happening at Coogee Diggers right now. It’s become my go-to local spot, and every visit just gets better. I would give 500 stars if I could.nnTina, the new queen of Coogee Diggers, has completely transformed this place into a thriving social hub! The difference is night and day. From the incredible food and drinks to the top-notch service, the full facelift, and especially the live music—everything is on point. Tina has taken this venue from forgettable to fabulous.nnSo excited for the upcoming bakery addition yes, please!, and PS—we’re obsessed with the new pizzas!nnWe’re forever grateful for our new local. Horrible, horrible service. The bartenders are slow and don’t know how to make simple drinks, and they make you wait and walk to get a refund. It took them five minutes of doing nothing just to tell me they can’t remake the drinks we ordered because they’re out of orange juice. They then make me go downstairs to grab the manager who wasn’t even there, making me wait longer.
Terrible and slow service, it was as if all of the bartenders were on the first day of their job. Drinks were made wrong and staff were unapologetic, lacked hospitality and were just generally slow. The food wasn’t that great either.
Such a great spot in Coogee, the new live music on Friday and Sunday downstairs at Cece’s has been great. And the pizza is amazing!
