Great alternative to the more familiar bars of Coogee being the CBH and the Palace. Huge selection of beers on tap and cocktails. Very family friendly also with huge grounds to run around on old bowling greens and one green remaining if you wish have a bowl. Also contains a restaurant and TAB facilities.
Came here for some dinner and to see more of the area. Lots of space and many kids running around with balls to play with.nnWe had the Parmigiana and the Porterhouse special on that day. The special kind of looked like a school lunch/dinner to us with the way it was present, but it was still yummy enough.
I highly recommend!!! Beautiful place. Wide and alot of space and decor is cute and beachy. I loved it.nnFood was good for me. I had salmon and mash.nYou can never go wrong with that.nnI loved the ambience outside and inside.nThe sunset on a weekday was beautiful.nnI highly recommend.
Had Melbourne cup lunch here. Had the entres of arancini balls, chicken wings, calamari. They're quite good. Had the T-bone steak for $34. The steak was huge, it was quite good but the mushroom sauce ok. Friendly staff & good prices.
During our visit, we experienced significant delays, having to wait for at least 40 minutes before a lane became available. We were offered a refund which I thought was the end of it. Then their general manager Simon Curtis completely went back on his word. Do not recommend.
