I have read most of the reviews. It’s very easy to judge someone but you never know what the staff is going through every day. They get numerous calls and requests everyday. My personal experience has been very good. I would like to thanks Pooja ma’am and Shiv sir to assist with my newborns passport. I was travelling to India and was panicking about getting it . But I appreciated the assistance I have received.

Despite all the negative feed back on this site, I find the people in service very understanding and down to earth serving their customers. They are welcoming and ready to hear and do their best to give timely service to their clients. Thank you Mr Anil for your service and Mrs Pooja ? the Ma-am Upstairs. She is very understanding and extra ordinary person. Keep the good work. I am one of those who got satisfied with your service. Thank you again!!

The worse service I have ever experienced in my life. They are here for our help but they feel like they are doing some favour for us by working. The lady who works at the attestation department is so rude. I really wish no one ever need any help from Consulate General of India in Melbourne. They can’t help their own citizen. The people like her should be ashamed of themselves. I have to give minimum 1 star but my rating would be negative infinitely. There system makes us feel good that we want to give up our Indian citizenship

Very helpful people and quick service. My Police Clearance Certificate had been stuck for over a month and it was the only obstacle keeping me from starting my new job. These people helped me to get it all sorted within two days and I'm very grateful for that.

I would like to acknowledge Ms Pooja & Mr Anil's help in getting the passport for my son at a shortest possible time. They both helped me and went out of the way. Great Team Effort at Indian Consulate Melbourne and thank you heaps for all the help.

I discovered that the Indian Consulate General is quite welcoming and competent. Due to visa complications, my children' passports needed to be issued right away. After hearing my situation, Pooja Kalia from the passport office promised to help in any way she could. The best part of this talk is that she expressed apathy towards my current circumstances and was delighted to assist. This change is very much appreciated.

My review on my latest interaction, I was really pleased with the service that I received from the consulate. Especially Suma ma'am understood my situation really well on call and though she said the resolution might take some time due to other work already in queue, I was surprised to receive correspondence and the outcome to my issue sooner. I do thank Suma ma'am and all involved in helping me get a speedy resolution! Much appreciated :

India consulate service Melbourne they are doing amazing job I have applied for passport renewal but in mean time I need to travel it’s in emergency situation ,thanks a lot to treat me in good way and got my application done in before time frame really appreciate. Kudos to entire team in the office they understand my scenario and transferred my calls to exact person and sorted my issue. I applied for my few days back and was able to get it in some days without any hassle. All thanks to Pooja she was a wonderful help. I have been talking to pooja regarding the matter, and she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever talked to. She was so calm while speaking and made an assurance that I would receive the passport in the short time period. I really like the way she have done the process so smoothly.

Awesome Service. I talked with Pooja and She took extra efforts to get my work done. It was quick and efficient. She made my day today. Really a helpful and understanding soul.
