We are trying to get an appointment for business purposes and want to travel to China as soon as possible and it's urgent and also relevant for us to travel. As we are trying to build a relationship here. We have been waiting outside the Auckland ambassy for hours but there's no help at all. The website is rubbish. What's the use of website when we can't even book a appointment. I have emailed the embassy but there's no reply. The worst customer service I have seen
Good experience. The travel visa applications instructions posted online are complete and accurate. I read carefully but had missed one step my bad, so I went to take care of it and promptly returned before they closed for lunch. Staff are so knowledgeable I dropped off, and contact by phone was very helpful I called once. Know the rules, when the office is open, and when call-in hours are listen to the voicemail recording, and you'll find the service faultless. My visa was processed in 4 days, and of course NZ Post is always great with overnight courier delivery.
Had my passport renewed beginning of the year, great service, very helpful and friendly staff, especially the reception girl, patiently explained what documents I needed to provide, and handled my case with a great smile. Very fast and efficient, in and out within half an hour. Great service experience!

If prepared everything, no need to fear. Because we were, it take us 5 mins max.
Not open for appointments. Still answering phone call. Hope the opening details can be updated in App and Googleas it is waste of time to wait for an appointment accepted, be told that it actually doesn’t work out, and then to wait another couples of days to rebook appointment with Auckland Embassy.
Easy to walk to from Wellington train station. Make sure you read all 5he instructions on their website for the Visa you want. Take all relevant paperwork and photocopies. Fast and efficient process if you follow all instructions. One member of counter staff spoke English
Terrible at getting through to them on the phone as they rarely answer which is the only reason they lost a star. They have a standard 5 day turnaround for visas in passports excluding the day it arrives. I sent ours on monday morning and received them back on Friday, excellent service.
Never has a phone number or one that works. Never replies to emails, maybe doesn't even work. Terrible visitor hours, impossible to drop in. Impolite staff. But that's typical of most consulates. Still hasn't gotten in touch about my passport renewal even after one month. So useless.
good attitude, polite with good manner. efficient. the public servant knows what she is doing and finished everything in 10 minutes. highly recommended!
