BEST CREPE IN MELBOURNE. Tried a Nutella and strawberries crepe for the first time from cones and was so impressed!! Not to mention a scoop of any ice cream of your choice is complimentary! Really good value and lovely girls working there. I highly recommend.
Their blood orange sorbet is my new favourite! The staff are lovely, too.
Heaps of flavors, at least you should try once. The presentation of verities is amazing and attractive. Though, prices are bit high, especially smoothies small $7
The best ice-cream place in the city, not only the portions are humongous, they are rich, creamy and heavenly. There was some problem with my debit transaction, it was generous of the owner to solve it right at moment. Love the friendly staff and the retro ambience, it's creates a nostalgia : Ask for the best seller, you ll be surprised by the magical taste.

Absolutely the best ice cream/gelato in Melbourne. The bubblegum flavour is packed full of mini marshmallows and has my husband and I still insisting that get it every time we visit Hawthorn. Year after year we drive 50minutes to buy birthday cakes and enjoy special treats with our children here. Family owned business who make their product from scratch using quality ingredients...and you can taste the difference. Even Augustus can't compete with these peeps! They were closed once over the Christmas period and we tried another place on Glenferrie road...so disappointed. If you want delicious high quality icecream and friendly service, Cones is worth a drive!
My favourite Gelato place, honestly I've tried so many but nothing beats cones. The lemon and strawberry are perfect together and the salted caramel goes brilliantly with the chocolate ripple.
It's Australia Day. It's hot. I thought I would treat myself to a smoothie. I've never been to Cones before. I just happened to be in the neighborhood for lunch. I ordered a Mocha Smoothie and what I got was quite thin diluted? to be called a smoothie. It was not even cold enough. It looked and tasted like iced coffee without the ice cubed or crushed. If they didn't have enough ice to accommodate my order, they should have just been honest about it and say so. I have the receipt and the image as proof of my purchase NB: I don't want any abusive response as I've seen from prior reviews of this shop. Response to the response: Neither there was "coconut" in the menu. But there were coconut bits in my smoothie. Although I expect ice to be in my smoothie, I don't expect "ice" to be mentioned in the menu, as other smoothie places in Australia, NZ, Japan, and America. In short, anywhere. Happy Australia Day!
We drive all the way across town to indulge in dessert at this place. Top notch ice-cream. No one in our family is ever disappointed. We will keep coming back to try everything on your menu.
