The food at The Como Hotel is always good and today was no exception. However with the QR Code ordering or ordering at the Bar, the service is almost non existent which is a shame as years gone by the service was very good. Bring this minimum level of service back and it gets at least 3 stars, otherwise it was 1 star.
This was our first time at Como Hotel, and we had an event of about 20 people. The booking had been set up beautifully and was in a wonderful location. We brought the birthday cake in and the staff to such good care of it. The staff in general were brilliant, attentive and truly lovely. The food was fantastic I was happy to see a few vegan options, I ordered the vegan lentil pie which was really tasty and a good size and the most popular dish from my non vegan friends was the slow cooked beef cheeks and the pizzas.nnI do wish they had a desert option for me though, while everyone was able to enjoy the cake I was unable to order anything to eat while they all had desert.nBut otherwise it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this location for dinner or social event.
Top notch food!nThe Seafood pie is a must, Fish of the day was amazing, and the Sticky Date Pudding was next level.nBig credit to the chef – absolute talent in the kitchen.nDefinitely worth a visit.
Totally underrated feed!nnBeen a local for a while. The parmis are my go to and are delicious. Super tasty, juicy but crispy on the outside. Starters are also great, zucchini fries are bang bang!nnMy partner loves the Fish and chips, however her favourite is definitely the burger.nnWould recommend to anyone wanting quality pub food.nnService being on the QR code however Raj the manager always accommodates me at the desk with smiles and good energy!
Food was very nice and came out quick.nI ordered the steak sandwich with chips which was nice.nnMy partner ordered the same but with salad rather than chips, we weren't big on the side salad which was rocket with not much else to it, but the flavour dressing was nice.nnThe service was great they were very nice and welcoming as we came in and helped us find a table.nnWould be awesome to have table service that would have been perfect.nnAtmosphere was good and have a nice restaurant area.nnWe ordered two pints of Coke which were 10/10 as well.nnWe will be back again.nnThanks guys
