Concierge service was very terrible. My credit card got stopped by mistake by a staff and they said they can’t do anything about it and it will take 10 business day for a replacement card to arrive. I mentioned my credit card auto payments are gonna be affected but they said payment should generally be paid by debit card not credit card !? and my digital card will be ready in 24 hours. It was not correct, it has been 2 days and I still don’t see my card and I received a failed payment notification from my insurance company, and I have verified with another branch the claim that that digital card would be ready in 24 hours was not correct. She was not apologetic either. The lack of staff knowledge is seriously unacceptable and the attitude towards customer service is not up to standard. CBA please look closer into staff training as a major bank, it is not good enough.
I waited for abouts 15 - 20 minutes in the queue to get my bank card made, even though there were like 5 other staff members walking around doing nothing who could've helped instead of standing there glaring at customers. When it was finally my turn, they told me that I didn't have a sufficient amount of documentation even though I had my student id and medicare card. Like firstly, instead of ranting to me about not having proper documentation, they should tell themselves that and look at the commonwealth bank website because it says on the website that you only need a medicare card and a valid photo id. Or maybe update there website. Its honestly ridiculous though because they told me to just make the account online and when I did it online it only asked for a medicare card. Like not only are the staff rude and unprofessional but they wasted half an hour of my time.
Came in this morning to do a cash exchange for our company till, spoke to the gentleman at the door who said the ladies behind the counter would be able to assist in this. I proceeded to the counter, which the lady named Tirra was very flustered and not speaking to the customers before me very kindly. when I approached the counter I explained if she would be able to assist in the separation into silvers and notes, she first of all said I would need to have this written down, I brought the cash exchange sheet with me however was hoping as a bank they would be able to help with the separation on coins and notes as how is the customer meant to know the values of the “rolls” unless told, I also verbally stated to her. The way I was spoken to was very harsh, as I came to the bank to get assistance. Don’t ever write negative feedback but working in customer service myself this needs addressing sadly I felt I was treated extremely poorly.
12:30pm on a Saturday, with 2 staff members working/available and more than 40 customers waiting to be served. This branch is the only one available within Brisbane northside for face to face/ open accounts, very poor customer focus. CommBank, you can do better.
We took an appointment and we're told it would be 20-30 mins. We waited nearly an hour before the someone came to see us and warn us that there was going to be a lot more wait because people went on their lunch break...both my husband and I took time of work. If it's how how they treat their clients I'd rather move all of our accounts to another bank.
What a disaster of a bank. Absolute shambles. Not sure why you have to queue from outside the bank for hours to get seen. Staff not a bit accommodating, it’s like they’re doing you a favour! Avoid on a Saturday and CBA get your S*** together or I’ll be finding another bank!
Understaffing of this busy branch lead to long wait times. Staff are doing their best, but wait times are unacceptable. Accounts closed. Thankfully won’t need to return.
Opened a new account with Commonwealth and to confirm identity have to come to the brunch. Waiting there for 40 minutes in the queue and still was not served. Can’t be bothered anymore, will open account with some other bank
In all of my 20 years of banking with CBA today’s experience at CBA Chermside was atrocious being told after waiting in line as instructed for 10 minutes already, that the wait time was probably approximately 30-45 minutes! Really? Explanation: because there was no staff available to complete a currency exchange! Why is this??
