ATMs and deposit machines don't work. Used the regular ATM and pin was correct, tried to use the deposit cash machine 20 times and it kept saying wrong pin, tried cardless deposit using my account and my partners and that didn't work. Tried both our cards, still didn't work. Pathetic especially since the other machines are "out of order". Useless bank. They've gotten rid of all their other ATMs and branches, what are they even good for?
Even though the service we had was good. Their treatment of pensioners is appalling. It doesn't matter what funds you have available, if you don't earn a weekly wage you are completely disregarded financially. Even if you foolishly apply for a credit ,if you're refused, it affects your credit rating. Ac

Made a home loan appointment28/10/22 at 10:30, with Marissa Magnusson . Drove a hour paid for parking, walked in found out Marissa wasn’t even there . Got a call from her telling me I have to go to different Branch to see her even the appointment was booked at Bendigo branch. Her attitude over the phone was absolutely rude and unhelpful , with no apology. Been a long standing loyal customer, I expect a service or at least an apology ?Im very disappointed.
Relocating myself in Bendigo, walked in Sarah serve me with one of the most beautiful greetings and her service is excellent, patience and guide me through every details, 5 star for this bank branch.
Imagine a bank that opened at 8 30am and closed at 5 30pm... you know, when busy working people have time to get to a bank.
We enquired about a business loan from the Commonwealth Bank around 28 years ago. We had the cash to start the business and only wanted an overdraft facility for $2,000 just in case we needed it. The manager had real attitude. We had a new and innovative business plan for a tourism venture. The manager couldn't see how it would work even though it was laid out in front of him. The manager very flippantly told us to "GO AWAY AND START THE BUSINESS, AND IF IT WORKED, THEN COME BACK FOR A LOAN!" How unhelpful was that? We did go away and start the business. We lived off it very comfortably for 9 years and sold it for a very nice profit. The new owner ran the business for a similar period and now the business has a third owner who has informed us that the business is going as well as ever. Yes, I hold a grudge. From what I have seen over the years and even very recently about the business ethics of the Commonwealth Bank see online news regarding criminal gangs and terrorists, I believe my holding a grudge is more than justified. All our banking is now done with the Bendigo Bank and we are more than pleased with their service.
For someone who works in customer service, Sarah whom works at this particular branch was particularly awful to deal with. I arrived at the bank at 3:33 and it was very clear Sarah was not happy with customers entering the branch. She was incredibly rude generally, and made a point of closing time 4pm by banging the front sliding doors shut early - about 3:50pm with customers still waiting to be served inside. In dire need of a culture change; this is one of several shocking experiences by myself and family members. Furthermore, the changes in Commonwealth Banks international exchange is serving no one other than themselves. Standard ‘big bank’ money hungry behaviour. Time to change banks. Do not recommend.
STOP FUNDING COAL - We were 10 year plus customers of the Commonwealth bank and used their excellent cash card services on a number of O/S trips BUT principles are more important than simple convenience. We noted, with horror, that the CBA put profit before the world and chose, short sightedly, to be the number one funder of the coal industry amongst banks in Australia - so we did the only thing we have the power to do and withdrew as customers. The Bendigo Bank does an excellent job of looking after us now!! CBA, give up funding coal before we face mass extinction because greedy corporations did not stop digging up fossil fuels and you guys go out of business because you have no customers left.
Useless faculties for ATM banking, can't even put $ into someone's account without their card just by using BSB & ACC number isn't possible Absolute crap in this day & age. I give it 0 Stars
