I’ve had terrible experience with the lady at the front desk. First time she did not send the sms notification about the queue, then insisted that she did. I did not receive the debit cards, so I was instructed to come to the bank branch to pick them up. The same lady told me that they NEVER keep debit cards. However, after a while they have found my card! The call center told me that I can make a telegraphic money transfer directly at the bank. The lady refused to process the transaction, contradicting her colleague and the call center. Overall, the lady is misleading, has no idea of communication and customer service. Passive aggressive in her attitude. After having this experience I have read the reviews and realized that I am not the only one. I am wandering why the bank management, despite receiving the direct feedback from the customers take no action?
I had the pleasure of being assisted by Bobbie, she was kind and patient while helping me set up my international student bank account. The lady at front was also very pleasant as she helped me queue up. The entire experience was smooth and welcoming, and I’d happily recommend this branch to others.
I went in the other day to ask a question regarding changing to a debit mastercard after calling online and being told that if I couldn't figure it out to go in store and ask someone. But I was talked down on and was not listened to and was instead just redirected to their online system. The person on customer inquires that day did not seem to understand the logistics behind it and just kept redirecting me to use the system when I was asking questions on the prompts it was giving me. I hope the customer service can improve by hiring someone with a bit more patience and respect.
Multiple times i have tried to call this branch to book an appointment and no one answers the phone my partner attended this branch in person and tried to book the appointment we needed. My partner was basically refused and told to call the same number we have been calling over the past 4 weeks to book in the appointment, with our call returned at the end of the day.nnThey only return calls at 4:30pm which is not a good time for us to answer the phone as we both have work commitments. It astounds me this is considered acceptable service and we will be looking at transfering banks.
I went to this branch to explain about a transfer I made from another bank to my Commonwealth Bank account that has been frozen by Commonwealth Bank. I showed to the manager the details of my transaction as evidence to prove that I did this transaction from my other bank account, but the manager refused to clear the transaction despite showing and providing my identity and said I could sign any satisfactory declaration as confirmaion, yet the manager refused to accede to my request. Now I am trying for clearance from the other bank, but they said their internal team has already informed Commonweath Bank to clear this transaction but nothing is happening at this end. It is very frustrating to deal with and I feel that they don't care about customers anymore.
