Hopeless. Arrived at the bank at opening time. Long queue. Eventually told by the manager it would be 30 minute wait to specifically discuss travel insurance linked to my credit card, but if I came back this afternoon... Went back at 3pm. Queue, that's OK I get that, lady asked my business and said "we don't deal with that". The manager hadn't said that earlier. In the first place they had convinced me to get a credit card because of travel insurance! Been paying $90 a year for this facility, for at least 10 years, No claims ever made. Got home rang the travel insurance department. "We are closed" A wasted day.
I went to the back today . I couldn't believe the fantastic customer service . You should be proud of your fantastic staff. There was so many people lined up but they didn't stress at all. Well done girls . Pam Webb
Business service, a very bad experience at this branch
Recently changed to Commonwealth bank because i had taken out their insurance. I was not aware of the lack of customer service focus this bank has towards its customers. Call centre either banking or insurance is always at least a 30mt wait even if you are wanting new business with them and whist their call centre staff are professional and helpful, their call centre times are unacceptable and I can’t wait 30mts to talk to a consultant. I recently went into a CBA branch in Brisbane for a very small change that would have taken less than a minute to be told that their branch was the main branch and very busy and there was always at least a 30mt wait, seems to be the normal scripted wait time for customers, so I asked if it could be done over the phone, she didn’t know, but I could ring and find out. So I decided that CBA has great systems but such poor customer service focus culture within their bank that I can do better, so I am moving my insurance and banking to another organisation as I don’t have to accept such bad service. The Bribie Island staff and branch are great unfortunately that’s where the great service stops.

what a useless bank and branch. you don't help customers so why are you even open. Mays well close the branch down.
Your Faulty coin machine never accepts our card, been changed my card 10 times by bank staff still same issue. Plz fix your machine
