Had a very lovely weekend at Comfort Resort they are very well equipped for the stay. beds were really comfortable nice little patio to chill out on and nice walkway down to the beach. We had a minor issue on arrival with our room and it was sorted out straight away and another room was offered The TV worked perfectly and the kids were very happy so a big huge thank you to Carole she was amazing very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend staying here to anybody and will most differently be back.
A lucky find after the hotel we were due to stay in was not good. 'Comfort Resort' is in a lovely location and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Setup for self catering the room has a proper fridge/freezer and ample cutlery & crockery. We only stayed for one night but if returning we would stay for a few days.Rooms: 4/5

When we arrived we found a beautiful one bedroom unit all ready for us. Arriving out of office hours was no problem with the key easily accessible from clear directions from the management. Everything in the apartment is lovely. It is comfortable and relaxing and exactly like the photos on the website. The facilities are also very good with well-kept grounds, two pools, a spa, and lovely BBQ and picnic facilities on the lawned beachfront area overlooking the magnificent Coral Sea. Black's Beach is one of the best beaches in the Mackay area. While we have been to Mackay several times, this is our first time staying here while visiting family who live nearby, but it definitely won't be our last time. This resort will now be our first choice for accommodation when we come to visit our family in Mackay. Rooms: Our one bedroom apartment has everything we need for a couple staying. Beautifully appointed, a very comfortable bed and kitchen with all facilities and a full sized refrigerator. There is nothing else we could have wanted or a self-contained stay. Safety: A quiet area of Mackay that feels safe and secure.
Our family had a beautiful week at this resort and the staff were INCREDIBLY accommodating and helpful. We cannot thank them enough. The units contain everything you might need on holiday with a young family. The pools are awesome and the beach is BEAUTIFUL! The best beach in Mackay.

Totally awesome. Beautifully kept gardens and good privacy for people wanting it. Great pool and spa. Fully contained unit with new washer, dryer, full fridge/freezer and kitchen with all you need. Didn't realise till I got here there was fox movies and that it was pretty good value for money for what you get. All units have undercover car parking. The staff are really friendly people. Really enjoyed and needed a relaxing holiday and glad I picked this place. They have their own manicured lawn with sundeck chairs to look at the view and picnic tables. The pics don't do it justice as you need the "had to be there" view. Loved it all.
Thrilled with the accommodation, really nice and clean. Comfortable! they have everything that we needed and more. The staff was friendly and engaging, Cath offered a lot of recommendations on what to do in the area. The place has access to the beach.
This place has to be one of the best kept secrets on the Queensland coast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the site is extremely quiet and peaceful and the landscaping is lovely. Very tropical. And don't forget the beach. The front lawn, overlooking the beach is brilliant. It is probably one of the best beaches I've ever seen anywhere in the world. This place is very safe for children and my family and I will be returning and will most definitely be recommending this resort to our friends. Karl
Beautiful place right on the beach. Nice and clean and very comfortable beds which is great after a big day at work. Friendly staff were very helpful and accommodating and even provided a save parking spot for our trucks. Awesome all round
