The park has plenty of shade trees and the small beach is wonderful for my dog to enjoy.  However, the access to the beach is via a lot of steps.  There is a ramp but it has a no access sign.  The ramp access should be made safe and opened for use by the public.

Hidden Gem down by the Brisbane River, great for kids and families as big playgrounds and BBQ and Picnic areas

This is a nice shaded area. My kids had lots of fun. The only downsides are there is no fence so keeping tiny ones close to you is a nightmare and there are mozzies around even at noon!!

Gorgeous park! The trees are so beautiful and there really is something for everyone. Lots of playgrounds for the kids, beautiful picnic settings and little beach for the puppies to splash around in. We will definitely be back

Great spot for a picnic with family and friends. Several playgrounds, tables, undercover areas, and barbecues. Walk access to a small No Swimming beach on Brisbane River.

Lovely place to bring the kids along in an awesome playground with cool racing tracks for kids on their bikes. Otherwise, enjoy the peace and quiet alone, with a partner or both, i.e. go with partner but spend entire time on phone, taking photos or listening to music with headphones on... Lol and smh

Find a quiet spot and take time to sit, relax and listen to the sounds of waves.

River beaches just wonderful. Careful of sunset closing in summer is pre sunset.
