Friendly, helpful staff BUT the library can get too loud. A lot of the times I've been here to study there were teachers reading ALOUD to kids, which would be fine but being a small library, everything they say is too audible and makes it hard to focus. The library also has limited opening hours. Come here for friendly, helpful service or if you want to get a book to go home and read but I wouldn't come here to study or read unless it was a last resort.

The service is excellent with a good selection of books. The location is great, as it's right opposite the Collingwood train station!
Cute library.Lovely, friendly, helpful staff but very annoying that they close at 1pm on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays especially when the population of this area is booming with all the apartment building and it's the only time when many workers can come. Also a bit noisy on weekday mornings to do any reading /contemplation with very noisy toddlers.

the loudest library around! ridiculous idea to make a library a playground!! people come to the libraries to read quietly and peacefully. whoever responsible for this program ruined the library experience. not good enough at all!!
The library is closed these days due to Covid19 restrictions across Victoria. It is housed in an old building which has certain charm of its own. Stocks enough books and study material to keep your learing buds in check !
Awesome library however had a woman walking around yelling on her phone for over an hour staff just let it happen
Friendly helpful staff, beautiful building
Gotta love kids playing around with xylophones and the sound of babies crying. Definitely not made for reading or even worst for studying. More a kindergarten than a library. Staff is nice.
