Getting married soon and looking for the venue? This is the one! Its a beautiful farm setting with lush gardens, a charming barn that transforms into a reception space, and a stunning cottage where the bride can get ready and rest, it's just like a fairytale world! The gorgeous tree under which the ceremony is held is also the highlight of this place. It's absolutely massive, and it provides the natural canopy for the couple and the guests : The surrounding gardens are simply stunning too! with a range of flowers and yup, you heard it right, animals that gives the unique backdrop for the photographs! It's a true gem in the heart of Melbourne. Just don't look further! haha.
Much loved by our family and always a story. What’s there not to love here. Kids roaming around at their own pace, brushing the cows, patting the Guinea Pigs, feeding the horses, chasing the goats and dodging the geese! We even picked up a Peacock tail feather on a visit. Plenty of seating around. Amenities mostly centralised around cafe. Don’t forget the boots when it’s been wet. Paid parking nearby and can get very busy on fine weather days on the weekend.
Great visit to this farm. Great for families. Saw sheep's, Goat, chickens, Duck,Peacock, horses, pony. They have a cool Cafe, Unfortunately we didn't get to eat at the Cafe.
Collingwood Farm was marvellous!! Cannot believe that this incredible place is within metropolitan Melbourne! My toddler saw a Peacock, Goose and a pig for the first time in her life. She also got to interact very closely with the sheep, chickens and the Guinea pigs. We could spend a whole weekend here without getting bored! Also, the staff were super sweet and the cafe was lovely. Finally, to top it all off, the farm had a really beautiful community atmosphere. It's truly a special Melbournian treasure! We'll try to visit often.
Was really nice being on a farm in the city. I never knew this place existed. Having a meal with chickens peeking around your feet was quite the experience. Im not sure if the weather or maybe something else contributed to hardly any animals but nevertheless we got to see a few. A nice family day out.
Great working farm to visit with the family. Plenty of animals, including feeding sessions and petting areas, plus fruits and vegetable gardens and a kids play area. There's also a cafe available though limited shaded areas throughout. Bring a hat and plenty of sunscreen. Beware of snakes during warmer months. The signs there are not for show! Parking available nearby though can be a bit costly.
Our long overdue Collingwood Children's Farm visit lived up to the mark. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the experiences especially, petting of some of the cutest Guinea pigs and the / parade. I wish more experiences/encounters/talks were in offer. On the day of our visit, there was nothing for sheeps, horses, cows and the pig.
Absolutely lovely farm :, Animals are very freindly and come up for pats, amazing muffins at the cafe. made my son's week. P.S thank you to the amazing staff who found my wallet
My family and I loved it here. Such a nice farm with clean facilities and grounds. Lots for the kids to do and explore. Highly recommend.
Nice place for kids to see animals and pat them. It was difficult having a pram as pushing it was hard given the track was not paved. No signs to guide you through the place. In general it was nice experience and Kids enjoyed a lot.
