Finally got down to College Dropout after perving on their ig photos for months. I had the Reuben burger $21 and it did not disappoint. Loaded with quality pastrami and a single smash patty, this meat combo was melt in the mouth delicious. Of course a Reuben wouldn’t be complete without the saurkraut which was a nice touch. The swisse cheese gave it a sweet-cheesy flavour and the pickles + sauce complemented the burger too. Very keen to try their fried chicken burgers and the rest of the menu. I’m also looking forward to the owner opening his fried chicken joint in Ivanhoe in Feb
Finally got around to trying this place, was not disappointed. Chicken was both tender and crispy. The College dropout burger was the star aswell as the house fries.
This burger shop in Ivanhoe is not bad. They do smash burgers which is when they smash the patty to make it thinner and crispier than usual.nI got their LA burger which they said was a copy of the chain store in LA. It’s got a couple of patty’s, slice of raw onion, house made sauce, cheese, tomato and lettuce
The way I’ve ordered from here 3 times and today they topped it again. Convinced my bestie to try it today and placed an order as usual. When I got to Ivanhoe, for some reason it had placed the order to Brunswick instead. Crestfallen we said thanks and left to make the trek to Brunswick. Before we got in the car, someone had chased us out and told us they would sort it out and give us the order from this store. Manager got some details and then whipped up our order within 5 mins for us after contacting the other store on our behalf.nnFood was excellent as usual but the customer service today was amazing. Thank you so much for saving us that trip and for being so kind in the situation.
Damn, delicious. nnMy only complaint is I don’t like eating in with my boyfriend because the white lighting makes me look extra ugly. Switch it to warm light and I’ll we will never leave.
