Very bad shopping experience for un safety practices not happy Cole’s Waterloo had to report this to the manager at 7:30 pm Sunday 9th November empty boxes placed on top of shelves specially on top of sea food shelves. This is very unsafe specially when have customers with kids and trolleys or even when your bending down to collect products. Fine having new staff filling the shelves but come on this is be In the training that fine a empty cage to placed empty boxes very unsafe practice yet u they keep being placed after I told the staff
We’ve been shopping at Coles Waterloo for about 13 years. The store has a great range of products and is always well stocked. The only downside is the parking — it’s not very convenient and there aren’t many parking spots.
I don’t know if it’s just that I have bad luck with the days/times I do my grocery shopping, but this Coles is often lacking certain essentials. It drives me crazy when I have to reinvent my meal plans on the fly because I can’t get something obvious like a roast chicken or cottage cheese. Also Coles in general keeps discontinuing foods that I love - the Coles Kitchen chicken with leek and bacon sauce, the family size braised beef, the Coles Made Easy prosciutto wrapped chicken with parmigiana filling, etc etc. I’m a picky eater and it’s getting harder to find things I actually want to eat at this store :nnLong story short, go across the road to Aldi instead, at least it’s cheaper.
One of the worst Comes stores in the area. Confusing layout, often unclean and staff hardly ever smiles. Bought some “fresh” cut flowers the other day and they started rotting after one single day. At least Woolies tends to discount the old stuff but not here, full price!
Ratna helped us find a missing phone and was so kind about it, she reunited us very swiftly even though it was crazy busy, I’m incredibly grateful. Five stars for Ratna alone
