Small store but has everything you need. Nice to see a Christmas tree set up outside the store. Had to ask for assistance to find the gift cards as they weren't where I'd normally expect to see them - they were tucked to the left side of the cashiers on the wall there.
There actually have staff at the registers. Not just one person serving you at the service desk. A few counters are available for consumers. There's one particular man who is such a great employee. He always makes sure he packs my bags evenly. While having a chat with me. I'm afraid I don't know his name. I do know that if he's reading this. He'll know it's him.
Check the time stamp and date on their BBQ chickens and don’t believe what counter staff tell you. Checked chickens on the servery and were stamped 0845 am. Asked counter staff at 1-10 pm same day if fresh chickens were on the way. I was Informed the chickens in the servery were 10 mins old. Nope. Wrong. Chicken is high risk meat and not safe to eat 4 hours later sitting at a temperature which I felt to be around 40 degrees. Lift your game and follow food safety standards, please.
I like it overall. but they need to mark down the must-sell cake specials to make it worth while. $2.50 marked down to $2.30? Really!? I do appreciate the icecream mark downs. $10 for a box of ice-cream on a stick usually. once it hits anything below $6 it starts to actually be affordable. Same for granola packet. $12 usually but I only eve buy when it hits $6.
Terrible coles, very lazy late night staff try and close the store at 10:40pm when it closes at 11pm.nnCustomers are harassed to leave also with the shelf-stackers’ stinking no really. This is a 5-10m stink. Time to fire and perspire.nnWill never shop here again.
