Coles @ Illawong is a beautiful, clean vibrant shop, tucked away and so convenient. Staff are so friendly and chatty. I'm personally not fond of grocery shopping, who is? Yet I always enjoy shopping there. 5 stars!!!!
Went to Coles last night for 2 items. Saw a checkout with only 1 customer and only a couple of items left to scan so waited next in line. The customer in front was a short lady who worked in the store. All her items were scanned then she suddenly decided she wanted something else so took off down an isle for a while, leaving me waiting. She got back with that item...... then took off again to find something else she wanted, making me wait again. Finally when she went to pay she pushed past me again to grab a chocolate bar. How rude for a staff member to treat customers like this, even if she has just clocked off. I know It might have only been an extra 5 minutes of my time.... but when that makes you late to pick your young child up from sport it's very frustrating. I'll be shopping elsewhere whenever possible now.
This is my preferred grocery store. It is a village atmosphere around other shops. Good stock,fresh food, and fantastic service. I am happy to support local shops.
Jack was a very good checkout person who nicely put all my groceries in my bags. I also got a mega charizard x from a pokemon card pack I got so big thanks for that jack i owe you a big one
Perfectly stocked Coles for those quick list-based grocery runs OR when you forget or run out of that one ingredient. For the locals, not having to make the run to Menai, Bankstown or other shopping centers is awesome.
