Coles is open for business after the mixed development project! Supermarket looks so spacious and lot of room in-between the aisles. Some of the self checkout scan and pack counters are looking like the normal checkout registers that sales assistants usually serve and don't be surprised if other customers come and unload their groceries on the conveyor belt for you to scan those for them ;-nnBetter if they can add some greenery! Some trees and plants to dim the all new concrete look!! Plenty of car parking available here.nI have some more videos to upload, but unfortunately google maps not allowing me to upload photos at the moment. I have to give full access to my gallery, I have given selective access to the iphone photo gallery and that doesn’t seem to work! Google maps keep asking for full access!

This is the store that my online shopping comes from. Usually it's OK but this week, a the driver got lost despite clear directions that everyone else gets, and b half the order delivered wasn't mine - half of what I received I didn't order, so presumably that part of mine went somewhere else too.nnI did a text chat with an agent, and they weren't able to contact the store and suggested I try again later. When I did, that agent simply closed the chat without replying. Rude altogether.nnThe driver last week had to recheck the truck as my order seemed a couple of bags short. To his credit, he did find them and said that the bags for particular orders aren't always put together. This overall lack of competence has now put me off ordering online from Coles, and makes me think twice going there at all.
Got some very good cakes reduced down to less than 50 cents each. Haven't scored that good with reduced things in a good while. Don't know if this is a regular occurrence for the reduced food to be so good here or if I was just lucky, but I'll base my review off my short experience. Otherwise a standard Coles.nnP.s. does anyone know who sets the reduced prices? They seem so random sometimes
The staff in the deli area is extremely rude and acted racist towards me. And it’s not the first time I experienced something like this. The first time I was there asking about the difference between Barramundi and Basa fish since I was just new to the down under. The staff replied to me with such a passively aggressive attitude saying it’s just very high end fish. The worst part is he/she treated the customers differently based on their skin colours. They greeted mainstream costumers enthusiastically and politely. But after I purchased the item, there’s no have a good day such kind of thing after I said thank you. Extremely disturbing and rude. I thought maybe he had a bad day, so I decided there’s no complaints needed. But today, it happened again. The staff started greeting by saying you ready. And after I said can I have five slices of middle bacon clearly with the right amount of voice, he interrupted me by saying I can’t hear you. I tried to repeat my sentences with a louder voice. But he was keeping interrupting me saying I can’t hear you. At the same time, he got me the exact amount of item I needed. How ridiculous it is! And again after I said thank you even though I feel strongly offended. There’s nothing but a look of ignorance. It’s the second day of 2024. I had enough of being silent and I believe that Australia is an inclusive country. There shouldn’t be any prejudice and injustice to the people who have different skin colours. I wish Coles Norwood can really look into this and starts treating your costumers equally.
