I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the amazing customer service my family and I received during our recent visit to Coles in Norwood. We’ve always enjoyed shopping there due to the wide selection of great products and the welcoming atmosphere, but this time, I was especially impressed by the patience and kindness shown by the staff.nA special thank you to the young ladies at the cashier and self-checkout area today before 4pm who went above and beyond to help make my son's experience enjoyable. He absolutely loves visiting the store and playing around in the cashier areas. I was so touched when one of the staff took the time to gently guide him to stay behind the cashier for a while, showing such understanding and care. Her patience and kindness made a big difference to us and created such a positive experience.
Coles is open for business after the mixed development project! Supermarket looks so spacious and lot of room in-between the aisles. Some of the self checkout scan and pack counters are looking like the normal checkout registers that sales assistants usually serve and don't be surprised if other customers come and unload their groceries on the conveyor belt for you to scan those for them ;-nnBetter if they can add some greenery! Some trees and plants to dim the all new concrete look!! Plenty of car parking available here.nI have some more videos to upload, but unfortunately google maps not allowing me to upload photos at the moment. I have to give full access to my gallery, I have given selective access to the iphone photo gallery and that doesn’t seem to work! Google maps keep asking for full access!
Nice store, wide aisles, and consistently good conditions and products. Ever since opening it has been great as far as Coles goes.nThey are heavily price gouging on a lot of vegetables and fruit though. $10/kg for capsicum is beyond stupid. Any green grocer sells them for a lot less, best I've seen is pooraka market for like $3 for 5 kilo bags
Coles at Norwood this morning was dreadful. I couldn’t find what I was looking for and asked 4 staff for help. Not one of them had any idea what I was asking for, they were foreign and appeared to not understand what I was saying. Bake at home bread rolls, pretty simple really!!!!nFurther more I walked past 2 staff stocking the fruit and veg refrigerated aisle and the smell of BO was nauseating. Not good enough Coles
Have loved shopping at this Coles for the past year because of its great location being close to everything on the Parade but for the last couple of months the older lady watching the self service check out is always asking for donations for all different charitys. I'm all for charity work and have been part of my own selected charity to donate to.nBut this lady has no information about where the money will go, what it will buy or what the charity is called. She just holds out a container and says, I'm raising money and asks for gold coins while people are trying to scan and pack there groceries. I'm at the stage now if I see her on self serve I avoid it.nSomething feels dodgy about it all even if it's a legit thing she's doing, she is coming across as pestering. If she had a table set up with readable information and proof about what's she's doing and what the money goes towards people might be more open to parting with some coins.
