The better and busier Coles of the two at Northcote Plaza. Poorly laid out and hard to find the products I usually buy at my local Coles Northland. I know the stores love of trying to get impulse buys by having customers wander through the store like maze rats so they7 might bump into something new but, from a consumers point of view it's annoying. There is something to be said for store layout standardisation.nnI'd rather shop in a store with an appealing layout band an ambience that entices you to browse and buy but this store doesn't have that. This is a grab what you want and get out quick store. What also amused me was the products displayed und the huge 'Dairy' sign see pic. Obviously they are food 'experts'...
Barely any produce out, most sales signs are down so you don't actually know the real price of any of the products out. It's like they only restock once a day. The person running this place seems to more concerned about cutting labour costs than actually providing a good customer exoerience as it's like this every single week. Would reccomend other places the only thing this store has going for it are the opening hours which they have already cut by an hour in the past year.
About time you fore the store manager for mismanaging this place so badly. Wrong pricing. Special labels not up. One staff member for 10+ self sever terminals at peak hour. They clearly have no idea what management actually is.
It's a supermarket with everything you need and a bunch of stuff you don't but will consume anyway because we have all been brainwashed by TV and advertising telling us it's the way to live. I love Coles it's a great cult, and I always get what I want when I shop there, even though I didn't need it. Great I've got another avengers DVD.
It’s a known fact that “good” Coles is actually bad “Coles”nnUnhygienic store, poor store layout, bossy staff who are often seen outside chainsmoking nothing against smoking but surely have some subtly for some perceptionnnI mean it’s a known fact this store is mocked online due to the pigeon’s that frequent the pick’n’mix section which I know seems funny but is actually disgusting.nnGiven Coles billion dollar profits and the fact this store is the largest in the area you’d think they would reinvest some money to making the store bearable - just money hungry bottom feeding owner operators.nnEnjoy the picture.
