Very nice store with limited hour parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
3rd Feb, around 7:30 PMnnHad the worst experience at the self-checkout today. The machine asked for assistance, so I called for help—saying “hello” and “excuse me” at least 3 times. I waited for around 5 minutes while the staff member just kept chatting and ignoring me. I’ve never been this frustrated in a supermarket before!nnWhen she finally came over, she didn’t even check what happened on the screen. Instead, she immediately asked if I had paid for my bag. I told her I bought it earlier, but she insisted it needed to be scanned. I repeated that I had purchased it a long time ago, and instead of resolving the issue properly, she got angry, threw basket forcefully, and acted unprofessionally.nnAbsolutely unacceptable behavior from staff. Terrible customer service.
It may be a smaller store so it is quite understandable that some things may not be available.nI find it rather ridiculous that they do not stock a classic soft drink like Mountain Dew, cans in particular, there is always an abundance of Pepsi, Solo and Fanta etc, so much that it's often stacked on the floor, and it's not coz there isn't enough room on the shelf, it's coz they stock so much of just those brands, they allocate space for gimmick flavours all they need is a single slot for Mountain Dew like most other Coles have, I mean, u stack stuff on the floor anyway, I'd be happy if they were on the floor rather than having to trek to Manly Vale, which when I do I chose to go to Woolworths to make my purchase, since I get 10% off my shop once a month with my car insurance, so ur losing business lol.nWorst store layout I have ever experienced, it's like walking a maze to reach the essentials like milk and butter, I know it is standard practice for supermarkets to put these items as far inside the store as possible, this store takes it a step further.
This Coles is so much better than the other one near the wharf, and it's only a couple of minutes walk difference. They have lots more variety, and fruit and vegetable is a whole lot fresher. And their service is a lot friendly, and there's more check outs... It's funny how a few meters makes.
This Coles is easy to navigate and everything is easy to find. The store is clean and tidy and the staff member at the service desk was helpful.
