Coles Karingal is a spacious and well-stocked supermarket, making grocery shopping convenient. It has plenty of checkout counters, and the attached liquor store is right next to it, adding to the ease of access. The location is great, with parking just outside and nearby stores including a sushi shop, butcher, market, and a coffee shop, making it a one-stop shopping spot. However, the staff could improve their communication and customer service skills. Overall, a good place for shopping with room for better service.
There for a quick shop. Store is well laid out, no trouble in finding products I was looking for. Only one human attended checkout, but that's nothing unusual these days, although regrettable.
I’ve not had a good run with click and collect and their complaints process. No one responded to my missing item inquiry online. Three items not substituted all could have been found in another brand or variety. Then five frozen items not given. When I called store no answer. When I called customer care they said I’d have to call back tomorrow to have matter resolved. Then they put me through to Karingal store- no answer and it hung up. Back to tower hill iga I go. Such a sad state customer service is in now that Cole’s is using so much AI
Big food court area with lots of different varieties available..nnMUST TRY:nThe satay chicken skewers @ Jade Garden in the food court, BEST satay sauce EVER and the chicken is always juicy! Staff are Super friendly and will even cook up fresh skewers if they don't have any in the warmers, you'll just need to ask!n&nThe Sushi from Pokero! They aren't in the food court but definitely worth the walk down towards Woolworths, biggest Sushi rolls I've ever had and at good prices!
I used to love shopping at this Coles—its fantastic range and free parking made it my preferred destination. However, my recent experience has completely changed that.nnDuring my latest visit, I stopped by the meat fridge to buy a pack of three steaks. While I was deciding on my options, a pre-recorded announcement about shoplifting was blasted overhead—not once, but over eight times—directly where I was standing. The constant repetition made for a very uncomfortable experience, and the message only ceased when I left that area.nnWorse still, for the remainder of my visit, I felt unreasonably targeted. A manager appeared to follow me around, repeatedly checking my trolley and lingering near the checkout. Eventually, she even called facility security as I was leaving, making me feel like a suspect rather than a valued customer.nnAs a former store manager, I understand the importance of deterring shoplifting. However, treating genuine, honest shoppers with such suspicion is unacceptable. This experience has left me embarrassed and disheartened, and I can no longer justify buying meat from this store.nnMy original review once praised the store for its great range and the bonus of free parking, but this recent treatment has completely overshadowed those positives.
