whoever was working self checkout on the 8/9/25 at roughly 4:30 is so rude. me and my friends came in to buy lollies and we had a school bags and we put our bags down near the self checkout and the lady working there rudely told us to move our bags because she’s “not babysitting them” the only reason we left our bags is so we don’t have to open them when we walk out because most the time stores think your stealing . besides the point she wasn’t even helping anyone she was just standing to the side talking to another worker that was working at the other register. seriously is that how we are gonna act to little girls

Huge coles store with large range of products but fresh meat section rather small.
To coles head office and kilmore store management,nWent to your store this morning, went to go through self serve with a full trolley, as there was a line at the only register open, scanned like 5-6 items then the red light came on, not one single staff member was there to help, i called out to the lovely lady at the closest register to ask if anyone was working, she said the lady working self serve was serving at the express checkout and I'd have to wait. Her line was then empty and asked if I could go over there to check out, as it would be quicker, she was lovely and shouldn't have to manage that situation as a regular staff member, extremely poor management,especially because there were 2 other workers in front of the self serve area just talking could have called for help, one looked like they could be the manager but not sure. As a multi million dollar company, you can afford to put the correct amount of staff on, and have effective management of your stores. Do better.nTo everyone else, just go to woolies across the road
Coles Kilmore was OK for a small Coles in a small country town, staff are very friendly and polite and the place was relatively clean just had a bit of a wait at the checkouts but other than that was a good experience. Shelves were relatively well stocked and everything was where it should be. Produce was all fresh and had a great deli department
