5 star for the staff but there’s just crappy food there. The deli never seems fresh and the fruit is tasteless and rotten inside . Prices are high. I get excited by good products like when they had frozen French croissants but they were quickly replaced with Cole’s brand . Which could not compare .
I'd never been in to this Coles before so popped in to have a look and ended up spending $70 on snacks chips and bizarre flavoured Twisties, a grazing box for husband and a superheroes collector's case - everything is a collector's case these days isn't it? And what sucker always buys them for the kids she knows, yes this one! Interestingly I'm used to getting cash out of self-serve checkout without buying anything, which you can do at their competition, but not at Coles and needed cash for homeless man selling Big Issue at entrance to store. So come on Coles!
Has the essentials, but not a full range. Good meat selections. Largely self checkout. Minimal waiting. Closes earlier than most.
As a Sandringham local, this is by far the worst Coles in Melbourne. Staff are rude, especially in the self check out area. I’m tired of being spied on by the staff as though I’m stealing, if I was stealing, would I return every few days? It’s becoming a joke, yet if I say something, I’m the rude prick. Items don’t get restocked for days, and when it does, staff just leave the boxes everywhere and it makes it difficult to get to what you need. If this supermarket wasn’t conveniently located, there would be no chance I’d even think about coming to this pathetic place. Staff need to do better.
Worst Coles in Melbourne. Staff who work in the self service section treat you like you're thieving, most notably the older short woman, the Asian woman and the older dark skinned guy, it's not a great feeling being watched over your shoulder all the time. They also never have what you need/want, surely it's not hard to place orders. Staff also seem more concerned with talking to their friends than actually doing their job. If there were more options in Sandringham, I'd definitely be going there over this poor excuse of a supermarket
