Good space. Plenty of things to get.nStaff has always been amazing. Friendly and helpful.nSometimes security has to walk around to control those who just mess up the place. Sadly that type of people are there.
I don't like this coles store the location is terrible and always seems to have a few undesirables hanging out the front.nLiving in Footscray for a short while l found the place overpriced unsafe and infested with plenty of large rats.nI don't know what the attraction is besides it being a inner suburb..
It is nice and clean. Was surprised. In Altona North Coles really neglected. I thought that they are all the same. But after visiting one in Footscray changes my mind.
Our experience was a bit extreme as it covered both ends of the customer service spectrum:nn1. Nathan in the deli was absolutely wonderful! He patiently answered our questions about all of the different meats and was very professional.nn2. I asked our female cashier at checkout if a Coles membership is required to receive special discounts shown on certain price tags. She gave me a puzzled look and pointed at the gift card section. Huh? Bizarre response to say the least! My question was subsequently answered when she scanned a discounted item, and the computer charged me the correct price.nnOh and why aren’t eggs currently in stock?
There are many things. Hot food, fresh products, frozen food, drinks, necessities and toys. There is self-service payment. However, there is not a trolley for shoppers many days. The prices of some goods are more expensive than Coles in city center.nProbably because Coles Footscray is the only local supermarket in Footscray. No other major competitor nearby. The detectors sometimes display the wrong prices of discounted items. Read them carefully.nnThe photo I took is the entrance of the building which you must get through to Coles. Coles is inside the same floor.
