Epping Coles good Verity of food and if you want to buy fresh indian roties available daily but you got to be quick they will sell fast. Better to be there in before 12pm.
The Uber Eats service of the Epping Coles people is very bad where Uber Eats people have to wait 40 minutes for five or seven dollars and they don't deal with the wait staff properly. They should know that Uber Eats people don't pay us waiting money.
Renovations actually are quite good here. Would recommend a visit.
Formal Complaint Regarding Service at Coles Pacific Epping, Victoria – 15/06/2025nI am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unsatisfactory customer service I received at the Coles store in Pacific Epping, Victoria, on 15th June 2025, around 3:30 pm. My experience at the seafood counter, where I was trying to purchase fresh fish, was disappointing, frustrating, and, ultimately, distressing.nnUpon arriving at the seafood counter, I stood in line, expecting the store to follow a first-come, first-served policy. However, I noticed that five customers who arrived after me were served ahead of me, simply because they had obtained tickets, which I was unaware of. Although I later saw that a sign was posted regarding the ticketing system, I unfortunately did not notice it at the time. There was no verbal communication from the staff to inform me about the system, and I was left completely unaware that obtaining a ticket was necessary to receive service.nWhen I approached the counter to request service, I was told, “You don’t have a ticket.” I was shocked by this response, especially since I had been waiting for a considerable amount of time without any guidance on how to proceed.nnAs a customer, I would like Coles to review the camera footage to verify the sequence of events if you think I’m lying. I firmly believe that my account of what happened is accurate, and reviewing the footage will confirm that I was indeed at the counter first, waiting to be served, without prior knowledge of the ticketing requirement.nnConcerns Regarding Ethnic DiscriminationnWhat was particularly upsetting, however, was the treatment I received compared to other customers. As I observed, those who arrived after me, but who had tickets, were served promptly. This has led me to feel that I was treated unfairly due to my ethnicity. Had I been a white customer, would the outcome have been different? I cannot help but feel that I was treated less favorably because of my race, and that a customer of a different background might not have encountered the same issues.nnWhile I am not in a position to make definitive claims about the intent behind the actions of the staff, the entire experience left me feeling discriminated against, which raises concerns about the possibility of racial bias in the service I received.nnRequest for ActionnAustralia is a diverse country with a multicultural population. According to the 2021 census, people of Asian descent make up about 17% of the population, and Victoria is home to a significant portion of this group. It is crucial that all customers—regardless of their racial or ethnic background—receive fair and respectful service.nnWith this in mind, I respectfully request the following actions from Coles to address my concerns:n1. Clear Communication: There should be better signage and verbal communication to inform all customers about the ticketing system at the seafood counter. This will prevent confusion and ensure that customers are aware of any procedures before they attempt to order.n2. Staff Training: Staff should be better trained in cultural sensitivity and customer service, ensuring they interact with all customers respectfully, regardless of their ethnic background. Training should include awareness of anti-discrimination laws such as the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 Victoria and the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001.n3. Inclusive Practices: Coles should work to ensure that all customers, regardless of their background, feel welcomed and respected. This includes creating an environment where all customers are treated equally and with dignity, regardless of their appearance or background.nI hope that Coles takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to improve both the communication of store policies and the overall customer service experience for all customers
