It's Coles. They are one of the two large companies that controls the supermarket industry. They are slowly getting better over the years but as they are controlling the supermarket prices they increase their profits and blame price increase on everyone else.
I was refused a deli purchase tonight because the deli was closed ??? But the rest of the store was still open for another hour. The item was not yet wrapped up, still on display and there were two staff in the deli area.
Convenient spot, readily available parking front and rear of the mall the entrance is inside the main mall at the southern end and surrounded by other speciality stores.
Coles has sadly become a symbol of letdowns. The prevalence of price gouging has made it an unaffordable option for many. On top of that, the chronic understaffing at the checkout counters adds to the frustration. Shopping here means shelling out excessive amounts and enduring lengthy waits to complete your purchase. What used to be a convenient choice has now turned into a cumbersome experience.
Bought four Coles branded pizzas to eat that night, but when they were opened, two were mouldy. I tried to return them and get my money back but they said no, they would only swap them over. I told them I wasn’t going home yet and if I took two more pizzas now, they would just go off in the car. Girl behind the counter said that’s only option after checking with manager, who was nearby. Manager wouldn’t come over and talk to me and in fact turned her back to me. Very poor service. Just left pizzas on counter and walked out.
