I went yesterday to buy cooked chicken at 9pm.nI found the cooked time was 2:45pm.nWhich means more than 6 hours, and they kept selling it same price $12nI asked the night manager to reduce the price he refused , that means Coles Ignoring the food rules, which is after 3 hours they have to reduce the price, and they shouldn't sell cooked chicken more than 6 hours.nWhere is the supervision and inspection?!!!!nnI think they will keep them till next day to sell them again.nI don't trust them any more
Its stocked and neat and tidy, however there are not many manned registers and the ones that have the conveyor belt self service are always roped off and not in service! I was in there at 12pm today 21/10/24 and none available for use! It's ridiculous and having the conveyor ones in service would in the long one mean more business! Or just convert them to manned checkouts!nnNow the trolleys are replaced by the coin ones. No everyone has a coin just on them. I used to do the first part of my shop there, will be rethinking that now!
On the 28th of October at 5.10 pm I had an unsatisfactory experience with the duty manager, Peter, regarding customer service. I called to inquire about the click-and-collect parking due to unclear signage. He responded rudely, interrupted me, and stated that I should call back once I located the parking, then abruptly hung up. This treatment raises concerns about how Coles customers are valued, especially in comparison to Woolworths' VIP customer service for online click and collect via drive-through service in Bankstown Central.
I recently visited Coles Bankstown to exchange a faulty water filter jug that was missing a lid. While the service desk only accepts returns, which is acceptable, my experience took a downturn at the self-checkout. The price of the jug unexpectedly changed from $43 to $60. Despite explaining that we were dealing with a faulty product, the staff insisted we pay the higher amount. This felt unfair as we were not at fault for the defective item. I hope they review their pricing policies and improve their customer service approach.
I was buying a bottle of water for $2.30. There was only one cash register as the other 2 weren't working because of the power outage. A woman was buying many bags of produce and was paying on the only cash register. She was buying food separately by paying for different items at different times. I had to wait for 10 mins as she was taking very long. 5 people were waiting in line who were paying cash including me. The lady was paying card on the only cash register and the workers didn't tell her to go pay on the cash registers there was around 10 card registers.
