Coles Bankstown offers a great selection of Halal products and clearly respects the needs of the Muslim community. It’s refreshing to see such variety and consideration in a major supermarket. However, I recommend increasing the stock especially from Friday night to Monday morning as many main items tend to sell out quickly due to the high demand over the weekend. Overall, a great store with room to improve in availability during peak times.
Very disappointed with the service from the duty manager, Peter. He was unhelpful and refused to follow the proper privacy policy regarding a refund for an online order. Despite having confirmation from customer care, he ignored it completely and seemed unwilling to do his job. To make matters worse, he left me standing alone at the service desk without any assistance. Extremely poor experience.
Terrible Customer Service – Extremely Disrespectful ExperiencennI had an awful experience at Bankstown Coles with one of the staff members. I was wrongly and rudely accused of shoplifting by a female employee, despite the fact that all my items were purchased from other shops. I calmly allowed her to check my bags, and once she realised she was in the wrong, she offered no apology at all.nnThis kind of treatment is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of respect and professionalism. Being publicly humiliated for no reason, only to have the staff member walk away without acknowledging their mistake, is disgraceful. Coles needs to seriously train their staff on how to treat customers with dignity and handle situations with basic courtesy.
Very poor person-centred support when querying a return policy in writing.nStore Manager Maan advised me it's 30-45minutes policy for return on cold / refrigerated or frozen items. I accept it if it's 30 or 45 minutes, I simply ask to see this policy in writing. Under the Australian Consumer law policy, as a consumer, I'm entitled to receive a written policy of an item implemented under this legislation.nMaan made me feel belittled responding: you don't have to believe me, I'm telling you this is it and I don't have to give you anything in writing.nVery Very poor customer service!nVery last shopping experience for me at the Bankstown store.nI complained to Customer service who conform, Maan is incorrect and must provide me a guide to the policy upon request.
Recent experience very bad, I was at self service check out and Bengali lady didn't help me cancel a item and she lied accuse me of not scanning a bag and I had my own bags. Very rude she targeting me instead of men around that she needs to look out for instead.
