$36!!! For one little tub of icecream? This is beyond obscene. I looked through the whole tub and didn’t find the gold flakes we were obviously charged for.
My waffle cone was stale - took one bite of it and then was able to poke my finger through it. Threw the rest in the bin. The shop also smelt pretty off, like soured milk. Nice enough people but sorry the whole experience was very off putting.
We went to cold rock and arrived at 9:30pm. They are supposed to close at 10pm but they said they could only serve us icecream with no mix ins because they had cleaned the station. The only reason to go to cold rock is to have the extra aspect of lollies/chocolates in the icecream. Why say you’re still open if you can only provide a limited service and not the main service people come to experience? Not impressed
Terrible customer service. I asked for a kiddies cup and the lady started filling a small take home tub and when I told her that I asked for a kiddies cup she said no you asked for a small take home and tried to tell me it was too late and I needed to buy the take home. After this the girls were rude and impolite. Not great.
Ordinary product and service. The ice cream looked just old and not fresh. Didn’t even mix in the chocolate goodies, which made cold rock so popular. Disappointed.
One of the best place to have an ice cream. I have been to almost all of the ice cream shops none can match them, others usually offer gelato, they on the other hand have a proper ice cream. 10/10 from me.
Quite a disappointing experience. After checking the website, I knew that the shop closed at 10:30pm. My partner and I drove 30 minutes and arrived to the shop at 10:03. We walked into the shop which was still open and we were told that they closed at 10 by the staff. I really love cold rock but this experience seemed quite unprofessional.
Very good ice cream, and an interesting concept with "mix-ins". Just slightly more expensive than most other ice cream places.
They have some really good ice cream and mix-in to go along with it. But if I'm honest with you, the only reason I decided to even come into the store is because of Rick and Morty. They promoted this store as a parody of "Cold Stone Creamery".
Had a fantastic in-store experience last Friday thanks to Umair's customer service. Despite me being a full grown adult, Umair was incredibly patient in letting me try each flavour and always with a warm smile. While I didn't end up choosing his recommendation, the Ferraro, I was satisfied with Donut icecream with cookie dough mix-in - very cinnamon-y. Will be coming back whenever I'm at Coogee!
