Had really high hopes cause it is listed as second best breakfast restaurant in the Brisbane app. Customer service was great but the Chicken in the Fried Chicken Salad had burnt bits from the deep fryer and it was bitter. Coffee and Shakes were top notch
Cool little cafe that has a massive range of food and drinks. Whether you want a coffee or a cocktail there is everything. We went for a girls brunch kicking into a lunch. We sat outside which was lovely on a winters morning. They have table service and the staff are friendly. -We visited again recently and it lived up to all my expectations.
First experience at the Rabbit Hole today was excellent. From the service to the food and spacious outdoor area. My friends had recommended the café. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the brunch. Special mention to the Bloody Mary
So glad other people have had a good experience here, and I definitely see this place as being enjoyable — unfortunately I had a negative experience with one of the staff which has left a sour image of this place in my mind. Firstly this staff member closed the door in our face as we were going in, which was a bit ??? but moving on. Although she had given us the okay to order a meal which we then paid for, she came back quickly to say that actually they were missing an ingredient. Which is fine, but as we chose an alternative which was cheaper she made no offer to refund the difference. As we waited to ask her for a refund she just kept trying to shoo us out, telling us “we’ll bring things out to you”. Speaking of which, a burger came out before a muffin which was in the counter ready. There was like a 4 minute wait time between them which just seemed a bit odd. Besides that, prices here are a little on the steeper side as well, an average meal being around $21-25 AUD with their juices and smoothies ranging from $7-$9 My little sausage muffin you see below cost $8.9. But happy to support a smaller more local business, provided their servers could carry some decorum which the other server totally did! All in all, I would say come when it’s quiet, but not near their closing time. Check if they have the ingredients for the meal you want before you pay, and if you can sense a staff member’s having not such a great day, it’s best to just stay out of their way.
Great food, lovely decor, friendly staff, fast service. Be warned, the serving sizes are massive! So don’t snack before your visit lol. Great value for money and totally delicious! Have been a number of times and always leave happy. Highly recommend.
What a vibe, this place is a must go! Super friendly and attentive service, great coffee and incredible food! When I say incredible, I mean it. There's something for everyone dietary wise and the value for money is outstanding. The portion servings are too good to be true and the food is always devine. Great space to sit indoors and out, plenty of seating, dog friendly and the atmosphere here is so upbeat! This is my second visit and I'll definitely be back!
Such a great little spot. French toast was up there in my top 5 for sure. It’s a bit pricey but in my opinion it was so worth it. Ample seating and dog friendly.Recommended dishes
Enjoyed a beautiful breakfast here. My fish tacos were a delight, crunchy crumbed perfectly cooked fish with a good pico di gallo & nice chilli hit. My partners burger was a giant concoction with egg, caramelised onions &topped with two hash browns. Service & coffee also great Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Parking: Plenty of parking on street
Coffee is great. Ordered corn fritter for brunch. Good amount, very tasty spicy sauce. Poached eggs can have more running yolk. Corn fritter is not warm enough. I prefer warmer food, especially deep fried
Really really good. Friendly staff, good coffee and really good food. This veggie brekkie was outstandingly good. I go in for a bit of veggie food here and there but a lot of places don't really do a great job with it. It sounds good or looks good but doesn't live up to expectations. NOT the case here - this all tasted amazing. Great flavours that all went perfectly together. YUUUGE portion too. Absolute winner
