Limited menu but the offerings are tasty. The torii roti wraps are tasty and the coffee is good. Service is also friendly and first class. The space is wide open which is great as you don't feel crowded in any way.Food: 4/5
Great open space. Delicious, fresh food. Friend of mine had a toasted wrap and said it was nice and crisp; one of the best she’s ever had. Amazing staff.
3.7 Another day, another venture into Docklands. Coffee Gauge is a great cafe and eatery located in the foyer of 827 Bourke St, Docklands. With its amazing green wall - worth a trip to see in itself - this is a restful and tranquil place to sit and have lunch and a chat. I had a toasted chicken sandwich and a lovely coffee for lunch. Both well executed and tasty. My friend had a freshly squeezed orange juice which was lovely also. He liked the space so much that he stayed after I left to do a little work and soak up the atmosphere. The only not tranquil thing about the place was the manager/owner who objected to me taking these photos by shouting at me as I left! Twosheds will nevertheless return for the space and lovely green wall. 3.7
Old mate brews a very solid coffee. Plus the ambiance is very nice for a docklands coffee shop. Thanks guys
The coffee is very tasty! I love the taste very much! The boss is good, so as the staff ! highly recommend this coffee shop to all of you !!!
Beautiful breakfast in, there, there r good coffee and good service
The service is one of the best I’ve ever had! The guy who served me was very nice and outgoing, not shy at all. He was not afraid to start a conversation. This place I highly recommend with the food being fantastic
Sensational, we stayed at an apartment nearby for a few days break and had breakfast twice, best breakfast I have had at a cafe in years. I had the Healthy Gauge Breakfast, avo, poached eggs, spinach, baked beans, grilled tomato with sour dough toast $15 such good prices and the food and coffee was delicious.
This is how my first visit here went - ordered roll, paid for it, waited 10 minutes, asked how's it going, they gave me a blank look. Hadn't done anything at all. Here's how my last visit went - ordered roll, my friend ordered sandwich, waited 10 minutes, they brought us 2 things which were not what we ordered. If you like wasting time and not getting what you asked for, this is the place.
Coming from NSW I must say this is the best caffe I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying some of the menu!!! Great service great coffee and great food!!! Next time I’m in Melbourne I will be back for more..... Thanks guys Scott
