My first but certainly not my last visit to this very busy coffee shop. My wife and her friends are regulars. Now under new management who have undertaken a very tasteful redecoration , a lovely upgade according to my wife and Paris themed, again something close to my heart. Select and pay at the counter, a lovely selection of very fresh and appealing choices. Madam, a Round Orange cake and a skinny late' ,myself an open Smoked Salmon sandwich and a large late'. Very reasonably priced, prompt smiling service , everything you expect..we will come back soon.
I had the chicken parmigiana. It was absolutely dreadful. It had been microwaved, it was hot and cold. The chicken was incredibly dry and hard in parts. The waitresses were extremely busy catching up on gossip to bother asking if the food was ok. My wife had a foccacia. this was much better, however the pumpkin in her roll was way under cooked and crunchy.
RUDE RUDE RUDE !!! escaped if I had read the reviews prior to entering in to this coffee shop. The lady at the counter BOSS LADY I presume, had NO manners in greeting the customers, loud, noisy, careless possibly frustrated in life and not at all happy as we only wanted coffee with NO food looked DRY and UN INTERESTING FOOD any way PRICE TAG not compatible to the poor quality of food displayed. BETTER OFF avoiding EVEN if you are hungry and thirsty . you can walk down and am sure any other place you find will be better
Food is nice but coffee isn't great, not sure if its the brand or the machine but the taste is a little bitter. Staff are friendly and food comes out quick. Apart from the need to improve the coffee it's a nice cafe.
Coffee was ok but service was all over the place. I can't say I am a fan of the decor, bit old fashioned and the paint colour is just wrong. Its always busy so they must be doing something right but there are other cafes around that just do it better.
The Chicken Parmagiana was simply terrible. It was tough to eat and the tomato seemed like from a jar sprinkled with shredded processes cheese and microwaved. The salad was a few leaves of different lettuce, some shredded carrots with a terrible dressing. I wasted my money here.
Very efficient service despite being a busy Friday lunch crowd. Great coffee and chicken wrap was fresh, tasty and a generous size.
Good atmosphere. Coffee and florentine were fine. Quite busy without being noisy. No WiFi :-
Did a take away pie ..and they must have microwaved it as the pastry was soft and soggy
Great coffee and even better service
