Such a lovely little place to enjoy lunch & a few sneaky cocktails. Our Waitress Caitlyn was super friendly and made great recommendations from the menu that would compliment the hot day. Food is inconsistent. Some meals are amazing packed with incredible flavour, high standards & then others are below standard. It seems to a common remark amongst other when dining at Coco Mojo. Definitely worth checking out for the staff energy & Food.
To be honest, at first we were a bit sceptical about the world food menu. However, dining was excellent! Best Seafood Platter so far, our kids were surprised by and very happy with the Caribbean Platter and the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Very friendly service, nice location. Would definitely come again and try the other dishes!!
A MUST VISlT Restaurant if you are in Cairns . 12 of us 3 families decided to go there after seeing the images of food at their website. Most of us would agree that actual Food Presentation Vs images will be always different. But be surprised here, the food presentation looked exactly the same, actually it looked even better . Between the 12 of us we had ordered about 9 different Main Dishes . Restaurant was really busy at 7.30 pm , we had no expectation that food will be served soon. There comes the next surprise, food was delivered in about 30 minutes which was reasonable considering the crowd there. And the guy who served us was fantastic. Very patient in querying each one of us and ensuring our choices were correct. Now comes the food taste. Each and every one of us loved it.OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!
What a wonderful dining experience. We had already had dinner at Coco Mojo the night before and just had to return as the food and service were so good. Our waitress for the evening was Caitlin. Such a lovely outgoing young lady whose customer service skills were brilliant and she looked after us really well. I would certainly recommend Coco Mojo to anyone visiting the area.
The only restaurant in Clifton Beach and the only one you will need. Just the most unassuming place but the food is fabulous. Easy to pass it by but doing so is your loss. Come hungry as the portions are substantial. The vibe is so laid back, like being somewhere in the Caribbean. Great eclectic place to chill and enjoy good food. 5 stars without a doubt.
AMAZING SERVICE! The goods come from the beginning as soon as we came there was a table for us even though we were early for our booking! Once sat the waitress was attentive and friendly getting our drink and food orders perfectly. The drinks were cold and fresh with great flavour! Our breads and dips came out fast and delicious with amazing sauces for the bread. After our food came out and they were amazing so flavourful and stunning I had the Barra and belly and my step father had the Marakesh bowl and both were perfect for both of us!! Once we told the staff we were celebrating a birthday they went out of their way to prepare a desert with a sparkler and chocolate writing!! Amazing in general no complaints about the whole night!
Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon while staying in Palm Cove. Easy bike ride or walk from palm cove via a nature reserve boardwalk! Lovely relaxed atmosphere with live music. We ordered the dips platter delicious and freshly made! the chicken skewers and crab cakes. Chicken was very tender and full of flavour. Crab cakes nice but under seasoned. Both served on top of a salad which was nice but missing any real flavour as lack of dressing on both. Also the chicken would of been taken to the next level with a side sauce. While the food was delicious the service here was sub par. About 10 minutes after ordering a cocktail jug a un interested waiter informed us there would be a bit of a wait on the drinks as the bar tender was “having a chat” with some other patrons. Waiters seemed genuinely uninterested in being there, no smiles and plates were not cleared after entree or second drinks offered at any stage of the meal. Would definitely recommend for the food but was disappointed in the service.
Not very impressed. I wanted to order the Barramundi and noodles which sounded delicious and healthy. Was told they have no barramundi. Couldn't even get a barra burger. So I was stuck with a falafel burger. I am pescatarian so I had the fish options, however my partner is vegetarian and the only meal option was the falafel burger. They are not very accommodating to vegetarians and I doubt there are any vegan items on the menu. The table and chair arms were sticky. The staff were friendly. The burger wasn't terrible, but definitely my least favourite thing I've eaten here so far 5th day of holidays. The pattie was a bit too thick. It was $25 which wasn't too bad. I would not go here again or recommend it to my friends. The 4.5 stars must be from meat eaters who don't like barramundi.
We had heard about this place before we arrived in Clifton Beach. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing, the cocktails fabulous and the service from the lovely Lara was outstanding. Everything was just perfect. So much do that we are going back tonight.
Found this hidden gem on a walk from Palm Cove. Very nicely laid out venue, with an extensive outdoor area in multiple sections. We only ordered a couple of cocktails and some side dishes but everything was top notch and couldn't be faulted We loved the relaxed vibe of the venue and the service was friendly and efficient.
