The food was amazing. We came on a Thursday night and it wasn’t too busy and I must say the atmosphere and the food was incredible. We were served by friendly staff. We weren’t too sure on what to order so we got a small variety. We ordered the beef nachos, the calamari, chips and guacamole, fish tacos and the chicken and avocado salad. We ordered the pulled beef tacos however there might have been a misunderstanding because we were served the minced beef nachos which looked so good we ended up eating it and finishing it because of how flavoursome it was. The fish tacos were served generously and were nice and filled up. The fish was nice as well, not fishy or oily but rather flavoursome and fresh. The calamari was the same; not fishy or oily but rather flavoursome and fresh. The batter or outer coating was nice and light and did not overpower the calamari meat and was lovely with the sauce. The nacho chips and guacamole was a decent serving and was also good. The avocado was a perfect green colour and was nice and ripe. The chips itself was different to what were used to. It was thin and light which was so delicious. The chicken salad was my favourite out of the whole meal. It was so beautifully done and all of the greens were so fresh and clean. The chicken was beautifully seasoned and cooked. The dressing was just the perfect amount. Overall I would give this salad a solid 10/10. The atmosphere was also amazing and we were mesmerised by all of the pictures and books displayed all around the restaurant. My sister especially could not stop looking all around her and was staring at the huge bookshelf’s inside. We would definitely be coming back, me especially for that chicken salad. Well done to all the staff there, it was amazing.
Got some sandwich press, nachos and their rice plate to takeaway. Good serving, full of flavour and fresh produce used.Food: 5/5
Haven't been back on two years when pandemic started, I guess. I think the management has changed as the service is very different from what I remember. Came for lunch with a friend and, it was not so busy. Ordered the fish tacos, haloumi 'fries' and chicken nachos. My tacos were very good and not dry, stuffed with coleslaw and light dressing. It was yummy. Nachos looked good, but I didn't try it. Service was lovely. Good came out pretty quickly.
Good place to meet up friends and enjoy Havana historical photos My light meal today with Mocha Frappe and Chicken and mushroom quesadilla was so good !
Ordered a steak well done, received a raw steak that I had already poured the sauce all over and was inedible. When I left I wasn't even asked how the food was, pretty obvious the steak was still on the plate. Not my first bad experience here, not coming back.
One of our favourite places to dine. The owner and staff are very friendly and nothing is any trouble for them. The food is really good and quick service. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The high back lounge chairs are very inviting. Highly recommend Coco Cubano
It's always a hit or a miss with this place but lately more misses. Soggy cuban sandwiches, unseasoned fries, milkshakes that just taste just like milk and nothing else, and always missing something from the order. Such a shame because you guys used to be so good. Now it's over priced and lacks in quality.
I've been a few times and it's been great. This time we ordered chilli fries and when they came out was just chips with some cut up jalapeno and coriander. This was not as described and was not as all nice. I raised it with the waiter and he was amazing, apologised for the disparity and changed our order to a different item that was much tastier. The cubanitos were great as always!
Long wait to be served, didn’t have chocolate for the chocolate milkshake, told to get table water ourselves and was shocked to see a dead cockroach floating in the jug! The worker then brought a new jug but we did not want to drink from it… will not be going back especially as it’s overpriced
So easy to follow the vibe and imagine you're in Havana, drinking in the culture and history. Clever decor and furnishings help you to escape the everyday and relax into another world. Fire up on their coffee or chill on their mojitos and margaritas. Plenty of food options to choose from. A revolucion for the senses! ¡Viva Cuba Libre!
