We originally planned to stay in Inverloch but struggled to find a pet-friendly accommodation. Luckily, we found this gem in Wonthaggi, which is conveniently close to Inverloch, Venus Bay, and Cape Paterson. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-presented our pet-friendly cabin was—it felt more like a hotel room! Having previously stayed in a not-so-great pet-friendly cabin in Lakes Entrance, we were expecting something similar, but this exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and it came with everything we needed: a decent-sized TV, a cozy sofa, a dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking.nnI’m not sure if all the cabins are as nice as the one we had, but ours seemed recently renovated. The location is perfect, with easy access to beautiful nearby spots. Although there’s no WiFi in the cabin, it wasn’t an issue for us since we had internet on our phones. There’s also a swimming pool on-site, which would be great for kids, but we didn’t check it out.nnOverall, we highly recommend Wonthaggi Park Lane Holiday Park to our friends and family, and we would definitely stay here again!
I've been a caretaker before. This place is first-rate. Beautiful garden area next to the office where tlyou can guy a great coffee. Cozy little cabins with a cathedral style shingled roofs, super clean amenities and great staff to back it up.
The staff need to work on up selling as my cheap skate boss got the cheapest and nastiest rooms for the first 2 weeks of the trip. The room they sold us on the last 2 weeks was great thank you for the stay.
Booked to stay on two powered sides over 8 months ago. Arrive just before Labour Day weekend thinking all is well. NO! Our sites had been moved all without notifying us prior to arrival or when final payment was made at check in. As we were travelling with family this was not suitable so we asked for other alternatives. What we were offered was disgraceful. The sites were dirty, unkempt and one site was already set as a permanent residence that we could not even use.nSince this would not work I requested a complete refund. We were given the classic excuse of a 10 day wait.nWe were on the last leg of a 2 week trip and funds were tight. Now we were stuck go find another location for the Labour Day weekend, short a deposit.nnAnd would you guess it, no other locations available due to the long weekend. Cutting our trip 4 days short.
This location is perfect for exploring the town centre and all it has to offer. We opted for the glamping pod, and it was the perfect choice for our needs. Despite its small size, it's equipped with everything you could want, including a microwave, fridge and TV. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay, with all the amenities you could need.nnI also want to mention that the entire area is very well kept and clean. The staff clearly take pride in their work and it shows in the care they put into maintaining the grounds. We also made good use of the camp kitchen, and it was a pleasant surprise to find it so well-equipped. It's clear that the owners have thought of everything their guests might need during their stay.nnOverall I am glad to stay with them and highly recommend it to everyone
