I am writing to express my frustration with the service we have received from Skyone Hotel. We were told that someone would be available to take our call, but despite calling over 10 times, no one has answered. This level of unresponsiveness is incredibly disappointing, especially after being assured of assistance.nnI expected far better communication from your establishment, and this experience has left me questioning the professionalism of your service. I would appreciate a prompt response to this message to address the situation and rectify the poor experience we have had so far.
We came here for 3 nights on 12 July. This is the first high rise apartment in Box Hill & can be easily accessed by bus or train. One needs to book a parking if self-driving. It has a shopping mall right next to it, so everyday supply, cafes & restaurants are is readily available in walking distance. The unit was nicely built & maintained. Things a service apartment should have provided are all in order. However, there is no AC in the 2nd bedroom, no ceiling heaters in both bathroom, no clothes hangers in the wardrobes. The biggest gripe is the wind noise from the ceiling duct that’s constantly very annoying. The light switch in the main bedroom also broke down. The associated facilities on the 3rd level look great but we didn’t hv time to enjoy them.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated regarding Sori, the receptionist at Skyone Apartment. The tenant of unit 1201 has been fraudulently using my name for over a year without paying utility bills. I have reached out to the front desk Sori multiple times, asking for assistance in contacting the tenant to help the landlord resolve this issue. However, Sori was dismissive and refused to offer any help. This lack of responsibility is unacceptable and leaves us, as property owners, feeling helpless and frustrated. I pay significant body corporate fees, yet I’m not receiving the support and services that should come with it. I strongly urge Sori to take owners' concerns seriously and work proactively to resolve issues, rather than shirking their responsibilities.
Close to so many shops. Amazing pool/sauna/library /gym and rooftop for drinks at sunset! Been staying here as a get away for a while now a weekend here and there in the multi room suite and love it! Rooms are clean. Staff are amazing at front desk! Location is perfect everything within walking distance! Can't fault my experience I've had over the many times I've stayed!
Do not stay here save your money and go elsewhere!!!!! They will rip you off, we travelled from Brisbane and had paid for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, 2 months in advance we had organised early check in & was told we are able to check in early as we are travelling interstate and have request well and trolley way ahead of time. Upon checkin the front desk was empty the doors were locked and we were unable to get inside the lobby we called the after hours number and had to wait for 30 mins for the worker to come let us in inconvenient as we had children we were tired and hungry, also there is no street parking so we had to keep moving our car around and around to avoid block traffic as it’s a main strip!! When we proceeded to checkin we were told our room was not ready and will have to come back at 2pm when we can back at 2pm our room was still not ready!!! When we finally did get to our rooms, our en-suite room was a double bed not a king bed as promised on the website when booking a 3 bedroom, when we told the receptionist of this she replied “there’s nothing she can do” the big bath tub was unusable as it did not have a plug so had to use the broken shower which was taped together with duck tape, had to shower my 12 month old which was inconvenient as she has sensory issues with water hitting her face, I had asked for a plug on check in day and did not receive one until day 4 of our stay. We were told we are able to use facilities on level 3, pool, spa, sauna and bbq facilities . We took the children down on level 3 to cook some sausages for Easter and enjoy the outdoor area. A new worker came upto us and said we had to book the bbq area and have to put down 200 dollars deposit to use the bbq area, yet all advertised as part of facilities we can use as guests staying at the hotel this shocked us as we were not told this upon check in. Then it just gets worse we had family guests over for Easter and we asked receptionist on check in day if we need to register there vehicles as they are only visiting for a short while 2-3 hrs she said no they can park in visitors, on the same day the lifts had stopped working as we stayed on level 27 and we are stuck on level 3 with chicken and our bbq food and our babies pram, they told us we just have to walk up the flight of stairs as there is nothing they can do. When the lifts finally started working it was past 3-4 hrs now and our guest had gone to check they’re car and both cars had been towed we went to reception and told them that they couldn’t access they’re car in that 4 hrs as the lifts were not working and they preoceeded to say “they’re nothing they can “ as English was definelty not they’re strong suite they couldn’t even understand half of what we were saying in the end we had to pay 660 for each car to be released from the towing hard this ruined our holiday completely the lack of customer service and the fact that we had booked and planned our holiday with our children well in advance only to be stuffed around and better yet the receptionist kept lying saying they don’t know where the cars were taken yet the tow truck workers told us that he had called them to removed the cars!!!! all he could say instead of refunding us the money was that he can give us free house keeping for all there mistakes !!!!! we wil never ever stay they’re agin my son who is 6 nearly cut his mouth open on a broken glass in the room on the first day we had arrived I had recorded conversations of myself telling the staff everything including broken Door handle and broken glass table .. so unsafe esp with my children I was shocked and disgusted. Save yourself all the trouble and go to another hotel where you will be treated with respect and courtesy. Still waiting for our bond back and it’s been 2 weeks disgusting !!!! Cheap hotel with cheap fixtures. And unskilled workers who can’t speak English or comprehend what you are saying !!!!! STAY CLEAR OR THIS PUTRID PLACE .
