At Clarence, we offer a wonderful haven from the hustle & bustle of daily activity. It's a great place for business and social meetings.

We aim to have quality secondhand books and a good range of selected new books for both adults and children. A great selection of new children's picture books, secondhand adult fiction and non fiction. Significant books from the past, favourite out of print books, recent popular and well regarded books.

And good coffee and an armchair to enjoy while you read :)

This shop is a little gem! The best coffee and an interesting range of books.  I always feel so relaxed when spending time here. Customer service is top notch as the staff are efficient and attentive. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a morning coffee, not a single one of our coffee orders was correct. We tried to be gracious about it and offered to just enjoy what had been brought to our table but we were made to feel like it was our fault that she had stuffed up the order and had the coffees taken back from the table.

Books and Coffee.  What else can I say?  Other than get on down and get your mitts on some pre-loved books whilst enjoying a coffee outside for your daily 15 minutes of Vitamin D.

Tea, coffee, veggie and chicken wraps, and banana bread slice. We love to spend a little in this cozy place. Always friendly staff. The cafe is popular for lunch breaks. Lots of medical practitioners going there for coffee. Hundreds of books create an at home-like atmosphere. However, there is no parking close.

I was trying to kill time while a family member was having tests done at the mater hospital, came across this hidden gem.. such a cool little shop.. the staff were so friendly and the coffee was amazing.. ended up staying for lunch and browsing the books while I waited.....will be back

An Fantastic place to be a calming presence the moment you walk in.  They have books a plenty and the staff and owner are a group of managing strong and lovely people.  The coffee honestly is some of th best coffee in all of Brisbane Art on Point.

I love this cute little book shop! The staff are so sweet and so kind. I got a Chai tea latte this morning I know, I know, but it just tastes good! and it was delicious. Highly recommend if you want a nice quiet, relaxing place to be in.  A+++

Great vibe! Cold brew coffee, many tea’s and delicious food. This is the best place, to chill out, read a book and have a great coffee. Cheap prices and free wifi!
