The best dive pool in Perth. Best services comparing to other dive pools I’ve been in Perth areas. Love that they allowed the local ducks to swim with us too
Well it's not over chlorinated which is a plus, pretty scenery, friendly & attentive staff but like so many 'public' pools I use this word tentatively visit on a non-busy day. This will be a tough task because like Challenge Stadium non busy days are as common as...well! If you can avoid bus loads of children, families etc & the sports jocks doing '30 -50 kms a week' then you are doing very well. In between this challenge you may actually enjoy a pleasant swim in a lovely setting.
Not a regular and agree the pool grounds are presentable and enjoyed lap swim activity with a toddler on entry before 9am.nnAt 9.30am the pools were out of public use for synchronised swim training in dive pool and inter primary school carnival in lane pools. To use the toddler area I had to approach desk to ask it be turned on. Then our toddler enjoyed it. Also other toddlers.nnAt 11am an arranged time to hand toddler over at gate then swim a few laps myself. I had no choice but to leave. THERE WAS NO LANE or SPACE for a general public person to swim. This is not posted. I saw no exterior sign at entry until I left. I was not told at entry payment of $6.60.nI requested at desk a pass to return another time and this was declined.nnIs Claremont a public pool or not?nCo-ordinating times and several modes of transport for our pool visit today was not simple. I left dry and disappointed.nWill I return? Other local public pools have opportunities for all ages to exercise.
Nice big pool with lots of place to sit with a picnic basket
The outdoor water play space is so well thought out keeps the kids busy building damns with rocks. Can be a bit cold for the littles in the evenings, prefer going on a warm day.
