Civic Shower screens have a solution to every problem. Its no stress for them to solve problems and provide professional solutions. It does not matter if its a new build or a complete or partial renovation - nothing seem to worry them.nnThe measure and quote was performed by Tony French, a seasoned estimator and former installer with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is a great ambassador for Civic Shower Screens and Wardrobes - he is a well spoken gentleman and professional who knows all their products back to front. The measure was on time, prompt and thorough. The full and complete quote was received less than one day after the onsite measure.nnThey promised two weeks for the manufacture and it was completed earlier than estimated - refreshing surprise. The office was very professional with lining up the installation date and also changing it when other trades were behind schedule.nnThe installation was carried out by Steve Burgess, a very professional and experienced installer. There was a slight hick up with the manufacture of one extrusion but because of Steve's knowledge and experience he was able to make onsite modification without affecting the look and functionality of the finished product. The installation was quick despite the hick up and he left the site cleaner than when he arrived. Steve was friendly, well spoken, very polite and a great problem solver - he is another great ambassador for Civic Shower Screens and Wardrobes.nnI recommend Civic Shower Screens and Wardrobes for anyone who wants the job done right, on time and for the right price.
I’ve recently dealt with Civic on two occasions, and honestly, it’s a real mixed bag — almost like dealing with two completely different companies.nnMy first experience was with Civic Shower Screens & Wardrobes for sliding mirror robes, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The online ordering process was simple, turnaround time was quick, pricing was very fair, and the finished product looks great. Installation was easy and straightforward, and I was genuinely impressed with the overall quality and service. Based on that experience alone, I would have happily given 5 stars.nnBecause of this great experience, I decided to engage Civic again for a kitchen glass splashback. Unfortunately, this part was an absolute disaster. The representative, Stephen Watkins, was very difficult to deal with — from the moment he arrived, the energy was negative. It honestly felt like he just didn’t want to be there or didn’t want to do the job. Any small challenge or problem that came up was treated as “too hard” or “can’t be done,” even though the issues were easily solvable with a bit of effort or creativity.nnIn the end, I gave him the option not to proceed if it was too hard, and he simply decided to walk away from the job. Very disappointing, especially given how good my first experience with Civic had been.nnSince then, I’ve engaged another local contractor who’s been the complete opposite — proactive, helpful, and solution-focused. That’s how things in construction should be handled.nnIt’s a real shame that one person’s attitude can completely taint an otherwise great business. Civic’s wardrobes side — excellent. The glass splashback experience — very poor. Hopefully, this feedback helps the company address the inconsistency.
Very disappointed, we used Civic as they came highly recommended by the company that completed our bathroom renovation but would not recommend them to anyone and will not be using them for our ensuite renovation. It took 6 shower screens in total for them to get it right !! And I had to make contact and follow up on the progress with Civic. If not for me contacting the ladies in the office who were great I think we would still not have a shower screen. Management till this day did not respond to my email. The installers were good guys and tried their best to help each time and must have been embarrassed that the glass each time was incorrect. 8 weeks from start to finish is NOT good enough.
Just had my shower screen replaced by Civic and couldn’t be happier. From quoting with Stephen Watkins to the install by Steve Burgess, the whole process was smooth and professional. Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. The receptionist was also fantastic—helpful and efficient. The screen itself is top quality, and the turnaround time was impressive. No long waits, just great service from start to finish. Highly recommend Civic.
We had sliding wardrobe doors installed. The measure and quote was done on time and quickly. Then the install was well communicated and happened seamlessly and efficiently. Really happy with the quality too, the doors look great!
