City to Bay Fun Run
"The Lumary City-Bay Fun Run is South Australia's largest fun run. Participants are able to walk, run or wheelchair their way down ANZAC Highway from Adelaide to Glenelg in a 3km, 6km, 12km and Half Marathon event. Proceeds from the City-Bay support athletics communities in South Australia, while the event also acts as a platform for fundraising activities. The first City-Bay was run in November 1973 and ever since up to 40,000 people from around Australia have participated in the event."
