Frequent here a lot as close to work. Gets very very busy at peak lunch times. We go between 11-12, which we can order, find a table and watch everyone roll in. Customer service is good. Great selection of meals. Won’t lie I’m always ordering the same thing WFH a lot so daydream about soup Fantastic selection drinks, hot food chips, Chico roll and meals to order - even a lollies section. Not a lot of seating inside and can get abit squishy but highly recommend. Good taste great and not overly priced!
I'm addicted to Banh Mi here. Really yummy and I believe it's the best Banh Mi in town. Just always busy that staffs are mostly very serious and not quite friendly.
I requested a refund on a BMT as the roll was dry either an old roll, had been toasted or had been left out in the air not worth $11.45, was yelled at and told not to come back. It's a shame that the customer service is terrible, especially when they're busy. They literally throw the sandwiches on the glass cabinet and scream your number. I understand and empathise when there are external stressors however it's not kind to be yelled at in front of everyone, just for requesting a refund for a subpar roll.
Newly renovated, there's now plenty of seating. Great banh mi as always. The BBQ roast and rice meals are not good value, you only get a few slices. The noodle salad with grilled meats is pretty good.
Another ruined coffee , long black drowned in water , sad when you cannot get a simple long black , no crema , and only medium or large ?? Whatever happened to a small strong flavour full long black coffee ?
No frills lunch food place with Asian cooked meals, salads and baked goods.
It's never too early for a Bahn Mi, but apparently is here. Wanted one for breakfast like you can get in Melbourne and Sydney. Had to resort to a B&E toasted sandwich which was dry and disappointing.
I’m hooked on the Bahn Mi. First time for 1 in a while. Great to see they still provide quality tasty food.
Dig the bahn mi here. Roast pork, roast chicken and crispy chicken are awesome. They do them in wraps too which is different but would recommend. They are city prices so expect to pay $10 for a roll.
Haven't been here for awhile. Used to have really good BMT. I ordered the Crispy Roast Pork roll and was asked if I wanted it with crispy skin. I like the crunch and thought it would be extra crunchiness that I would be getting. If you mention 'Crispy Roast Pork', then I would have expected that without the 'extra crispy skin', the BMT would already have crispiness when you bite into it. I was sadly disappointed as there was no crunch and even with the extra crispy skin flakes actually, still the crunch was missing. The crispy flakes tasted stale and the only forgiving part to the BMT was the sauce and pickled vegetables even the bread tasted stale. For $11.45, I did feel a little ripped off when I could get it cheaper from the centre of the city Barrack Street. Was just on the other side of town and thought I'd give it a go. Not sure about the other meals but one bad experience, won't get me back there in a hurry.
