Story

The City of Tea Tree Gully Library has a wealth of services available to our community.
We have a collection of over 130,000 items for loan including books, DVDs, Blurays, CDs and magazines.
We also provide a wide range of services to the community including programs and events for all ages, internet training, printing and photocopying and assistance for people who are unable to visit the Library.
Access to public PCs and the Internet, as well as WiFi access for laptops and mobile devices, is also available.
The Library's collections and services are intended to meet the diverse needs of our community.

Tea Tree Library is my favorite place. Really good to do with kids. There is a cafe right next to the library, and there is a very beautiful Civic Park outside the library, so if you get bored while studying, you can take a walk in a nice place. It's a floor-to-ceiling window, so it's a really happy time to read while admiring the park. Everyone is kind.

First and foremost, the library itself and the facilities I think are excellent - staff are friendly, it's clean, I've always gotten the book I've wanted/needed plus plenty of things for the kids to do as well. What prevented me from giving this place 5 stars I just thought the regular cappuccino I bought for $5.80 was way overpriced for what it was, considering I could just walk 100 metres down to TTP and get one for much less

I used to love this librarynIt has a great range to borrow but it's just so noisy now. Far from what I always knew a library to represent.  Somewhere quiet to visit it is no longer.nRecently I went to read a book and sat myself by the window as the view was beautiful but all I could hear was a gentleman on his microphone earpiece giving a training session to a group of peoplenIt really was so noisynSurely that kind of thing can be done in a private room in the community centre.nLovely library just really noisy now.nWhen I mentioned this to one of the librarians she replied 'maybe you need to bring headphones next time'

I always enjoy my visits to TTG library as it's well laid out and the staff there are extremely well mannered and are very helpful. My only suggestion would be to have a few more chairs in the non fiction section, as there use to be a few years back.nHaving used the library for over ten years, I fully recommend to any one and you won't be disappointed.
