Story

City Farm Nursery is run on organic and permaculture principles to provide all requirements and advice for your organic edible garden. We stock a wide range of seasonal organic seedlings, herbs, permaculture plants, aquatic plants, bush tucker, native and backyard fruit trees and heirloom seeds. Try our special worm juice and range of organic fertilisers, compost and potting mixes.

All of our seedlings and plants propagated on site are grown from non-hybrid open pollinated seeds in our own blended seed raising mix from organic sources.

We are an outlet for the BCC free tree scheme and are a refill station for Dr Grow it All.

"Orchard Farm Nursery Ltd. aka "Klinck's Nursery" has been serving the Windsor area for over 60 years. We specialize in top quality perennials & ornamental grasses, flowering trees & shrubs, small fruit, Japanese maples and dwarf & ornamental conifers. Our plants are displayed in a unique park-like setting among labelled display gardens. The business first began as a fruit & vegetable farm operated by Edith & Harold Klinck & family from 1940-1990. The nursery & landscaping business was founded by well-known horticulturalist Donald Klinck in 1957. After Don's sudden passing in 1981, his wife Joan operated the garden centre until the torch was passed to Karl Klinck in 1995- the same year we moved to our current location."
