Been here approximately five times and every time it's been wonderful food, attentive staff and lovely owner/manager. Charlie in particular is a lovely waitress who ends up serving me every time I go in. Lovely demeanour and sweet. Great food options and generous portions. Good prices too. One of the better Cafes in town, considering the close proximity they are to one another. Go here first.
Beautiful atmosphere, especially sitting outside on an early Saturday morning for breakfast. Food came out very quick, tasted great and was cooked perfectly. A little higher prices than some other places, but is worth it in my opinion, not that I would say it's expensive. Good range of menu options for breakfast. Highly recommend.
Cool place. Great service. Sat down and Gemma brought me an iced water while I waited for my iced coffee latte which arrived in a glass jar and was excellent. Really good points of difference from many cafes that only provide you with room temp water to drink and iced coffee drowning in ice cream and cream. This is definitely a place for discerning coffee drinkers.
Was a great experience, their shakes were amazing, i ordered their elements breakfast and it was huge, unless your ready for a BIG breakfast i advise not to order as my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My wife ordered the eggs benedict and loved it. Definitely a place to visit for the food and atmosphere! Will be going there again
Disappointing lunch. Salad dressings from a bottle ..tinned beetroot..specks of feta..a few currants and pumpkin seeds. Grilled chicken saved the dish but at $17.00 it was overpriced. Service great and meals arrived quickly as very little prep required. I suspect a burger would have been a better option.
The first time a couple of months ago it was fantastic. This encouraged me to visit a second time which I am sorry to say was not so good. I was served a mug of very burnt coffee which I could not drink unfortunately. I was asked by a young girl if she could try to make me another which I declined. Secondly I was given my meal without a knife and fork nor serviette. Mmmm I waited as another young girl said she would bring them but failed to do so. I did not bother to ask as I was the only customer it was not like staff were rushed off their feet. Waste of my well earned money I thought and needless to say I will not be returning. Sad when the owners have put in so much effort.
After checking around online, my partner and I decided upon city elements for my birthday breakfast before we headed back to brisbane. It did not disappoint. The first thing I noticed was the decor - chic with an "international" vibe. All the tables had the name of a well known international City instead of table numbers. You had a choice of being outside in front, inside or semi outside in the back. Next thing I noticed was the welcome smiles and greetings. They were clearly busy but service was still wonderful! Prompt, good chat and smiles. The food was unreal. We had the baked mushrooms as we are BIG mushroom fans and the avo on rye. We loved them both! The mushrooms is a very rich meal so if you're looking for something light, perhaps find something else. But so yum - the flavour combinations were unreal. The avo on rye was my fave - fresh and healthy while being super filling too! Fantastic birthday breakfast! Thank you to all at City Elements!
Outstanding service and amazing range of foods. My sister can’t have gluten or dairy and they had a wide range of meals that she could eat and enjoy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place the food is impeccable at affordable prices!! Thank you!
This is a fantastic cafe/restaurant. A lot of hard work went into it! I love there coffee, cakes to much to mention. I'm local and go there regularly and recommend City Elements to everyone
