We had an excellent visit here. Picked up four chicks a year ago - they’ve grown up to be healthy, beautiful hens. Ingrid was extremely helpful when one of the little chicks fell ill early on. Thank you folks!
Had a lovely time visiting the city chicks! Ingrid was nice enough to let me hold some of their baby ducklings which was a joy in itself. The little store attached was so cute! with native bee honey with a little hive out the front! and poultry supplies. very lovely lady and fantastic shop will be visiting again *´`*
Ingrid and her Team were absolutely amazing! Helped my daughter find just the right temperament chickens for her. We even went back for 1 more chicken. Ingrid has exceptional knowledge and helped us choose all the care products right for us. Very grateful for their patience and care with my daughter. We had a great experience when we went to purchase our day old chickens. The shop was lovely and so was the farm walk. The lady was very helpful and provided good advise and told us everything we needed for our set up to raise the chickens. Absolutely love the lifestyle centre where the store is located to. It’s worth a drive just to have a look around.
What a wonderful place to visit! Especially with children. We purchased some gorgeous little silkies from Ingrid at City Chicks and were so impressed with the service. The animals were all very well cared for and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I even emailed afterwards with some questions and Ingrid was super helpful and wanted to know how the little silkies were doing, she genuinely cares about the animals she sells and it really shows. Love this place, Ingrid was ever so helpful with buying chickens and was happy to share her wealth of information with us. Also she kindly talked me through splitting our native bee's. Then she went one step further and gave me her mobile and said if you have issues with the chickens or your a little unsure with the bee's, s just call. Have been getting my chickens from Ingrid for 3 years. So nice to collect them from such a happy, healthy environment. Great back up support also. Really hard not to come home with a few extra girls as they are all so beautiful! My flock is bigger than intended!
Beautiful shop with very helpful and friendly staff. Nice farm walk with plenty of animals to see and the poultry look beyond healthy and beautiful. Always give really good advice when I need for my chickens and bees! Would highly recommend!
We bought 4 chooks today from City Chicks and were very pleased to see such happy, friendly and healthy looking chooks roaming free range in the paddocks. It was a lovely surprise to see them so content with visitors with most coming up close to us when we came into the paddock. They appear all very well cared for. The farm also has donkeys, a turkey, ducks and goats to see. The shop was great, selling everything you need to set up and care for your chooks. They also sell native bees, beehives and honey - which we will certainly come back to purchase in the future. The owner was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us all the information we needed to best care for them. We cannot fault our experience and we are very happy to recommend to others.
