Beautiful gardens, flowers and wildlife. A really nice place, well worth going for a look. Would be even better if the council would ban the scooter and cyclist who speed through here weaving in and out between families and walkers!
Botanic gardens were absolutely beautiful. So lush and colourful. Clean and not one piece of rubbish or paper anywhere. Enjoyed by variety of people eg children on play equipment, runners, bike riders and walkers. Such a joy to walk through.
Lots of quiet spaces. Great healthy trees to sit under. Plenty of water bubblers around. Very clean park. The amenities are aged and do have quiet a bad smell. Although present 'clean'.
Very well presented and well lit in the evening. Mosquito's can have a bit of a go at you at dusk, but take some snacks for the possums to eat, and you will have you own feeding frenzy the kids will enjoy. Never gets old. Market on Sunday small but cute enough!
Absolutely stunning city oasis with some very interesting history. Huge variety of tree species with huge old figs that are quite something else. Well worth the visit both day and lit up at night.
