Deserves -5. Arrogant, trades on ebay as citizen_watches_australia_outlet_store. Thinks it's ok to put down other people online in various online forums trying to flog citizen watches that don't sell well in real stores, very unprofessional bully behaviour. Felt like they needed a serve of their own medicine. Avoid Citizen in Australia.

Untrustworthy company. Refuses warranted repairs. Fair Trading unable to negotiate and get them to honour their contract. next step NSW Civil Administrative Tribunal. It's no longer the value of an inferior diving watch. It's a principal.

a very ordinary organisation. had to chase them up to fin out if they had received my watch for repair, they were most unwilling to chase. received a call in relation to the repair advising cost no issue but when I said ok they said it would be 6 weeks as they did not have parts and they needed to be ordered from o/s. they said this was a popular product and were out of stock. strangely enough 2 years ago the exact same comment. when the watch is past its use by date never citizen.

Unprofessional and uncaring. Lead by their manager Layla, the team at Citizen Australia are an unprofessional and apathetic team. Dealing with Layla I got the sense that she was ultimately a lazy person, who viewed her job as a chore, rather than a passion. Just trying to speak to her on the phone was a challenge, I got the immediate sense that money was important to them than offering peace of mind to a customer. Any query you have is simply hand balled to Citizen in Japan to get an official answer, they have such a VERY low level of knowledge and will take days or weeks to get back to you. I would recommend dealing with Citizen Australia as a last resort when it comes to issues with your watch. I had to escalate my concerns to Citizen Japan to get a satisfactory outcome.

More than 4 months for a repair under waranty (that they disputed) is a joke. Don't waste your money.
